We spend about 5 months per year in the area and like to try different restaurants. We ordered from the early bird menu, the servings were large, and came with dessert. We arrived and were seated immediately. The server was friendly, efficient, and incredibly personable. Two of us ordered the seafood platter broiled, with a light lemon butter sauce and was cooked perfectly. The sweet potatoes were wonderful. The two guys had the lightly breaded oysters and both said they weren't chewy or heavily breaded.I wish I remembered the servers name because she was waiting many tables and made us all feel like we were the most important people in the restaurant. We plan to go back before we have to return to PA. The hardest decision we have to make is what to try on the menu. Everything looked delicious.

What an amazing seafood experience! We were tired and hungry from traveling and we couldn't have chosen a better, faster, friendly restaurant. The ten persons in our party have very different tastes and Admiral's was able all our varied palates. The crab legs were amazing....better than the premium cost back home - no joke, they were delicious. Melted butter was available, but they were so tasty and tender, I never dipped mine. The fried scallops were a pleasant surprise as were the butterfly shrimp - tender and cooked to perfection - the chef knew what he was doing. My daughter made herself a healthy, salad plate and announced that all the lettuces were fresh and crisp. I even sampled the turkey and gravy and was not disappointed. I know what you are thinking about seafood buffets near beach towns - I know! But if you don't give Admiral's Seafood a chance, you will be the one missing out!

Friends suggested going for dinner so we agreed. Itâs a cool looking place place that overlooks the water in the Marsh, so that was pretty neat. We only waited 10 minutes for a table, so it was busy, but not overwhelmingly so. Drink prices were reasonable, but the food was pricey, and the portions were just ok. Their salad bar was nice, and the seared ahi tuna was good. I could only rate this as 3 stars due to the $38 plus pricing on meals.

The only restaurant in Murrells Inlet with a natural view on the water. We cater to all tastes and have something for everyone. Fresh local seafood, certified Angus steaks, slow roasted hickory smoked prime rib and pork roast, are some of our specialties.
Vacationing with relatives in this area, we had dinner here on our first evening in Pawley's Island. The scallops were delicious as were the sweet potato fries. Onion rings were also perfect in my book, only very lightly breaded so you had mostly onion, so good. Service was pleasant, food was surprisingly fast but the grilled pound cake was probably not worth the calories to me. Prices were fair. We might even return before the week is out.

We had steaks and yummy salad. Food was good. My only complaint was there were open tables in the front but we were crowded into the very back table.

Had the smoked fish dip. It had onions, green pepper, and salsa with mozzarella on top and was served hotâdelicious! Also had a cup of she crab soupâalso very good. They brought us some of the best hush puppies I have ever hadâvery fluffy with cinnamon butter. By this time we were very full so we ordered the fish and chips. Also outstanding! The fish was Very lightly breaded and very fluffy. It is now a new and favorite place for us. The staff was very friendly and the manager or owner made several stops by our table to check on each course.
