Recomendo!

We are pioneers in the process of flavor and main typical dish from Paraná, the Barreado. The restaurant, besides the Barreado, serves seafood and meat.
This place is a must-go-to restaurant if you're in Morretes (probably before or after the train ride?) potentially even a destination by itself. The portions are humongous (a portion might just be rightly sized for two people) and you actually get much more than you order. Better order the traditional regional dish, Barreados. Every portion comes also with shrimps, fish, mussels, salad and an extra portion of meat. The other dishes are pretty much exactly the same extras, except for that the meat is exchanged for whatever you actually ordered. Have fun!

This is a delightful bistro, set in a secluded courtyard, with shaded outdoor seating. I visited mid morning/afternoon, so only indulged in their delicious desserts, but these I can thoroughly recommend! A lovely, relaxing spot for a quiet 10 minutes.

Good food, big portions for a fair price. Excellent service, big place with a lot of space but it lacks a good view. P.s.: I went there on a friday night and the place was empty.

There's nothing special here. The only really important detail in this place is the air conditioner, as the city is hot as hell! Food is good but only good. The toilets are terrible.

The best place to eat the Barreado, a typical dish from Paraná state north coast.
In the colonnial town of Morretes you can prove a little taste of the typical food of coastal lands of south Brazil. The 'barreado' is an indigenous meat dish several days cooked that should be taken with a very thinn and white manihot flour. Nowadays it has been sided by white rice (ever present in the Brazilian table), fried or boiled shrimps, mussels in vinagrete sauce and fried fish. Although every restaurant serves the same, Madalozzo has the gorgeous panoramic view over the Nhundiaquara river. Do not miss the 'batidas', small drinks pevious the food. You can choose among banana's distilled alcoholic, passion fruit in the sugar cane hard liquor ('cachaça' or 'pinga') or a fruit collection matureted in liquor. Or even take all of them - indeed you don't need to drive to know the beautiful town!

Barreado is the typical dish from Parana seaside, particularly Morretes area. And at Casarao you eat it as it has been done at some local grandma flavour.Absolutely delicious, spices at correct level and very good meat.Restaurant is located at downtown on the historical area. Also if you want to take home and prepare a delicious party, this is the place to get it.

I went there with my parents because I saw it here on TripAdvisor. I tried the barreado, It was good, mine it's better hehe, but still really good. The best thing is the place. There is really cozy and comfortable, the staff were really nice to us too. My unique suggestion it's to not put the tulipa glass inside the fridge! Pls!

Excellent service, excellent meal and excellent location. My first time at Empório do Largo, as part of Serra Verde Express package, was my best ever barreado experience. I'm local from Curitiba, and already been at Morretes a dozen of times. Starting with the drinks under the ficus tree, perfect caipirinhas (peeled lemon, not too sweet, local banana pinga), barreado with perfect seasoning, the best came later. My wife has celiac disease, and when we requested her sides as non-pan fried they promptly attended us, doing their best to attend us as fast as possible. Awesome service!

We serve regional meals, fish, shrimp, crab served in buffet per person, we also serve a la carte snacks, portions and vegetarian cuisine.
You can still get barreado here (and there was also a manioc paste and barreado combo that was delicious) but the best thing about this place is all the healthy options. We went for the all you can eat buffet and left very happy. Salad options are great and plentiful, the mains are good - I really enjoyed the banana moqueca - and there are a good selection of sides - my wife nearly ate all the shrimp. There are separate vegetarian and vegan options on the menu. Drinks are good with your regular selection of fruit juices on offer. If your Portuguese isn't so great don't worry. The owner, I think he was the owner, has some English chat up his sleeves and he's happy to recommend his dishes - I nearly missed the potato salad until he pointed it out and it was very tasty.Definitely recommended for families as there are lots of options. Vegetarian or vegan, this is the one. Recommended to anyone who wants more than just meat or fish.Hello John SmithWe are grateful and delighted with your presence and evaluation, which rewards us for the effort in always offering the best.Having many options is sure to please most.Thank you very much.
