Spent 48 dollars on a seafood plate which was a disgrace, tiny portion size. Wife ordered the Risotto which was good. Food pretty averaged and overpriced but the service was exceptional. If it wasnât for the service I probably wouldâve rated it 1 star.

there have been many restaurant attempts to get the well located historic counting house. At last there is a reasonably good one that will hopefully last. It is proving quite popular and we could only get a table in the bar with the main restaurant booked out and with rainy weather the otherwise desirable outside areas were not available. The food was all very good though not amazing with exception of the pork ribs which were fatty. The menu is not huge, but managers to cover quite a range of diverse dinners so most people should find a good meal.Thank you for sharing your dining experience! Perfect location in Mornington, parking readily available around the venue, atmosphere, relaxing and cosy. Entertainment provided with special tribute nights occasionally like Elvis. Food amazing from antipasto platters to the beautiful pizzas and mussels. Food is sourced locally as are all the wines and boutique beer. The Fish & Chips here are fabulous. Pricier than others but worth it as everything is really fresh. The family have been selling fish at Queen Vic Market for a very long time & have a shop in Rye & now this one in MorningtonWarning had a burger here recently - don't!! Was overcooked dry & hard so will stick to the Fish & the chips are fabulous!!Best to order in advance as can be along wait as they are very busy!!Enjoy!!

I asked for Grilled fish and got this sorry excuse for fish. It comes covered in bread comes dripping in fat! Who really knows what kind of fish it is
