We celebrated our 40th anniversary with the folks at Drakeâs. I would call ahead for a reservation, we liked the booth arrangement. Nice view and not near the glare and sun near the window seats. We had their soup special, beet salad and they split the salmon entree for us. The choices for wine, entrees and dessert were varied but not overwhelming. The staff was professional and friendly. Enjoy!

We were staying at the Lodge and needed some variety. Gourmet Au Bay was recommended by the local winery on PCH. We ordered to go the flatbread pizza and crab cakes. Crab cakes were very delicious! We took food back to the Bodega Bay Lodge and ate on our patio. Great food! Try them out!!

This is a little dive place on the water but not even really a restaurant. There are shared tables and countertops where people just sit and wait for their food. To give you an idea, they also sell bait, tackle, lifevests and other items needed for being out on the water. You stand in line and place your order and then are given a number you take to where there is a place to sit. No real silverware or glassware or anything even remotely close. Paper cups and plastic is all you are getting in this place. But both my husband and I had barbecue oysters, two different types I had the chorizo and lemon butter. I honestly canât remember what he had but we both absolutely loved the food. And we both had bowls, not cups, of clam chowder. I used to live in New England so I know clam chowder fairly well. Never tasted anything like this. Absolutely amazing! I have never tasted minced carrots and celery which seem to be raw to me that were dumped into the clam chowder before it was served. These were a little teeny specks of vegetables that were crunchy. I just loved the contrast between the creamy chowder and the crunchy veggies. And speaking of creamy, thatâs what it was not clumpy. So often when I order clam chowder it is so thick with additives that it is almost like oatmeal. True clam chowder, in my opinion, should be creamy, not watery, but not oatmeal either. This place hit it out the park. Not cheap either. I think 4 barbecued oysters were $17, but worth every penny! Would go back anytime! Note: I did not comment on Service since there was no service!!!intrepidtraveler23, we're beyond happy to read that the BBQ oysters and clam chowder really blew you out of the water! We do things a little different here, and we're so thrilled you appreciated the veggies in the chowder as well as the simplicity of it all. We really hope you make it back our way again soon! All the best,Fisherman's Cove Team

Built in the late 1800's, the Blue Heron is a beautiful, rustic restored tavern. The redwood finished dinning room features beef, chicken, the seafood we're famous for and vegetarian dishes. In the tavern the full menu is served including hearty pub food,
We recently visited for dinner. Both the bar and restaurant were busy and energetic. The ambiance is rustic and fitting with the location. The food was very good. We had burgers and fish dishes. Everyone agreed that food was very good. Unfortunately, the service was not as good. It took about 45 min for food to arrive and they got some of the orders wrong. In the end the burgers were excellent and fish dishes were well cooked.
