We've been relaxing in Vigo for a few days and so far haven't come across a better overall value. Top level fresh ingredients and masterful rendition of classic Galician seafood dishes at reasonable prices is what prompted me to accolade them the way I have. One snag is the lack of an English menu and English speaking staff. Other than that, you shouldn't regret coming here.

Read the reviews and was recommended by our apartment owner. The food was of poor quality. We ordered an array of meals (seafood, meat, salads) and each one was disappointing. The lack of taste was concreted when I saw the chef in the kitchen carrying empty packets to throw in the bin...

On our journey through the Camino De Santiago and on one of the longest days, we took our break here after browsing through Trip Advisor and reading a few reviews... and how glad we did!! Restaurant is along the marginal streets of a beautiful parque (Santiago de Compostela) and they had tables and umbrellas set outside. It was beautiful.. We had gambas al ajillo and the pulpo (octopus). The Arroz con Rape y Gambas was excellent. Tiramisu made on the house.. Service was also good..

Visited this on an early Monday afternoon, this is known not to be a lively time for late lunch or early dinner. Those who know Vigo, know that in the same area, Pedra, where El Mosquito is located is a dozen good small eating establishment serving plain seafood. The reason for going to El Mosquito is their large wine cellar, this gives your food an additional flavour. The Arroz con Bogavante (lobster with rice) was tasty but not out of the ordinary.

Simple restaurant, actually more like a tavern, nothing exciting about the place, the location, the decoration....but...if what you really want is to be delighted by the amazingly fresh sea food, this is the place to go. The superb King Crab (Centolla) is outstanding.

The location seems a bit touristic and it maybe is compared to many other restaurants in Vigo but the food is great! We had the classic pulpo, pimientos de padron, mussels and the empanada and everything was super delicious! The price was moderate and the service quick. Not the prettiest restaurant but the food is worth it!

Seafood restaurant Located across the street from oysters Vigo, offers all kinds of seafood, fish, rice ... You can taste to accompany oysters and a good local wine, mainly "albarino" or "ribeiro". Alternatively you can take all kinds of tapas: octopus, c
If one is keen on gorging on that fabulous seafood stuff Galician kitchen has to offer, this is the place. I cannot vouch that in terms of its offering it stands out of the numerous surrounding restaurants (and these are aplenty on that very street). The dishes we ordered are very well prepared and the quality is awesome. However, this comes at a price compared with similar offering in other places. Prepare to pay around 90 euros for 4-5 dishes plus two glasses of wine and coffee. Nothing frightening but value-wise things could improve a bit.

This appeared to be one of the better restaurants that are in, or on the fringe of Constitution Square and did a good job of Padrons and Iberico Pork and spuds.. Service was without a smile but that is the way. An enjoyable spot to watch the crowds partying.Do not expect style or innovation but the food was good quality at a reasonable price.

Choose Our area Located in the heart of Vigo's touristic zone, Casa Vella lets you enjoy the best dishes in a cozy atmosphere that contrasts with the famous and picturesque Oysters Street, full of dynamism and movement. Next to it, A Pedra market and the
High-quality, extremely fresh seafood. Traditional fare superbly executed. We went there for percebes and were crestfallen when the waiter said there might not be any left, but fortunately there were. We also had a fish soup that was light and delicious, and padron (peppers). Excellent albarino wine accompanied.
