New American fare with a focus on seafood & local ingredients at this cozy eatery with open kitchen.
I never would have noticed this place in a little strip mall if the owner of my rental unit hadnât recommended it, and Iâm so glad she did. Nothing fancy hereâjust fantastic food. Do not miss the shrimp and gritsâperfectly cooked shrimp, enough chorizo to give it some heat, and grits to make it all rich and creamy. Be sure to get some extra focaccia to sop up the broth! So glad you came to see us! The best food is always hidden away, and we're so glad you found us. We appreciate the kind words about the quality of the food, as well as the preparation that we work so hard to perfect. We'll pass the compliments along to our Chef! Can't wait to see you again next time.

This is a restaurant with a casual atmosphere and a dark, shady bar in the back. It feels like two different establishments, a family restaurant and a gloomy dark hangout for heavy drinkers. Anyway, I have had good meals in here and I have had terrible meals. The French Onion soup is very good, however, my daughter ordered cake for dessert and it wasn't even edible. It was hard as a rock and obviously stale. The last time we went in we were seated immediately but did not get our dinners for 75 minutes. The waitress was friendly and apologetic but I think they were having troubles in the kitchen. I probably won't be going back.

The food was delicious, the waitstaff attentive and the manager stopped by to check on us. On our way home weâre going to stop for all day Saturday Happy Hour.
Tonight, I felt like some kind of crabs. Lucky for me, the Crab Barn is in the Greater Millsboro area located at 32600 Long Neck Road in front of Amvet Post 2. It was converted from a huge produce stand into a restaurant, lounge and seafood market about four months ago. The seafood market has the whole range of seafood with lobsters, clams, oysters, fish, soft shell crabs, scallops and blue claw crabs being market priced. I wanted to write this review, so I ordered the cream of crab soup, wings and a soft-shell crab sandwich. The cream of crab had the lump crabmeat in a side cup. The soup almost tasted like cream of celery but did not have too much flour as is sometimes the case. I like my wings with crisp skin and these smallish wings certainly did not have any crispness. The soft shell was good with the best cocktail sauce in the area. For non-seafood lovers, they offer a burger, chicken breast and prime rib. Service was pleasant, attentive and efficient. The restaurant and lounge have a barn like feeling and there is something about the lighting that does not feel quite right. There are three tvâs behind the bar in the lounge and two more in the corners. The parking lot is large and there are a few outside tables with umbrellas. I will return to try their AYCE crabs for sure.

Started with drinks at the bar where Sarah took excellent care of us. Making great drinks with a delightful personality. One of the other bartenders told us all about the fishing boats coming in and the upcoming fishing tournaments. Then proceeded to have dinner at another table where it poured down rain. Since it is totally covered, it was a wonderful sound on the rooftop. The served was very sweet and the mussels on the raw bar fabulous. Several of us had their special of soft crab sandwich. Although very good, the soft crab was served on very thick bread, hence losing the taste of the soft crab. It was a great night with dear friends and will definitely return. Thanks Sarah for making our night super fun with your personality and welcoming conversation!
Bailey's is a small family-run crab shack off of Rt 113. We had the most fantastic homemade crab cakes and steamed shrimp. Also, they had an incredibly delicious lemon meringue pie for dessert. It is a family run place and everyone is friendly. It's a great place to stop for lunch on your way through Delaware.

Local favorite since 1979. Serving the best pizza, wings, cheesesteaks, fried chicken, home-style dinners and much more. Join us for breakfast where we serve buttermilk pancakes, French toast and delicious omelets!
We went back for lunch after my father finally got to speak with the owner. He was assured that changes were being made and to give them a few weeks and try again. Today's visit was much better. Service was good and food was also! We will go back since things have improved!

Casual Seafood and American dining with full bar. Blue Crabs during the season. Great shrimp specials year round. $1 Oysters on Wednesday nights and $5 Burgers on Thursday nights.
Stopped in last night (5/22/19) for the steamed shrimp special. 2 LBS for $18. Can't buy 2 lbs frozen shrimp in Safeway, Giant, etc for that price! Also had the steamed garlic mussels for $9 and the $10 bottle of wine special. Not the world's greatest gourmet place but decent specials for the price!

Relaxed hangout offering craft beer, cocktails & casual seafood bites like tuna nachos & fish tacos.
Went for dinner on a Saturday evening. Enjoyed the outdoor seating area although it was loud and quite busy. Our waitress was slow delivering our drinks so we ordered dinner right away. At least 30 minutes later, our food arrived. Crab dip was average at best. Fried green beans were mushy. Tuna steak was thin and unevenly cooked. Overall, we were not impressed.
