I've been coming to the Lobster Claw forEVER.The new owners, son of the previous owner, has kept the quality high and improved the dining area. The Claw is consistently fresh, fast and high quality. My go-to is the fish chowder.

From Legal Sea Foods, Legal C Bar emerges, a focused yet full-flavored social urban venue, casual in style. Classic 'C' fare like clams, cod, crab and calamari as well as custom cocktails provides a contemporary, comfortable experience. Legal C Bar's menu
Son visiting from LA and our last night before he returns after our afternoon Red Sox game. No need for reservations. This is a casual restaurant. The menu has interesting seafood choices. The martini was weak. Calamari with peppers was good. Our meals were all varied. The sushi was good. Lobster Macân cheese was yummy with large lobster tender pieces including claw. Grilled salmon was disappointing, dry and bland with interesting healthy sides. Paella was a large dish with tender seafood but some what greasy due to chorizo. Overall it was an average experience at higher prices. Service was ok.

The seafood was excellent and the service was just as good. The ladies who were tending bar were kind and personable. Best food in Salem.

We were greated by a very nice young lady who took great care of us. We had an outstanding meal at Joe Fish. The menu selection is endless. Everyone in our party enjoyed fish of some sort. The scallops and Haddock were delicious. We were not rushed and the menu was explained in detail.
This place has been around a long time. I havenât been there in a few years. We have been determined to find a place that served Beef Wellington and the Hardcover came up. Itâs a regular item on their menu. We went on a Saturday night. Got there at 6PM. They were already full and had a 30 minute wait. They have a nice bar area with seating and a full menu. There was no waiting there so we sat there. The service was prompt and friendly. We ordered our main course and then went to the salad bar. Good selection plus fresh bread and an assortment of cheese. The Beef Wellington arrived. It was excellent. The price was a good value and a good time was had by all. Definitely wonât wait so long to go back next time.

This place has a very "no frills" look to it, and you order at the counter before seating yourself. Once you order and sit, a waitress will bring drinks and food when ready. The lazy man lobster pie was great, and I had the twin lobster special, and it was fantastic. My coworkers liked it so much they went 2 days in a row, taking me the second day, glad I went.

The signature dish at Legal Sea Foods â really fresh fish. Seafood Nation loves our outpost in Peabody, at the junction of Routes 128 and 114. Those traveling to and from the beaches in Cape Ann are known to jump ship for some fresh catch. And those consi
After visiting sites on the Freedom Trail and taking the water taxi to the Wharf/Aquarium area, we were starving and ready for lunch. Iâve been to Boston twice before and always wanted to try Legal Seafood. Two locals actually suggested eating there. It was right there near the water taxi and there wasnât a wait. We both ate crab cake sandwiches, fries, and coleslaw. Nothing fancy. We had already had seafood (lobster) earlier in the trip and just wanted a simple sandwich. The service was friendly, the food was tasty, and we were seated/served pretty quickly. I will be honest we chose to eat here because of convenience of location and the recommendations, but it was overall a good experience.

Great local restaurant and fish market. Had the 1.5 pound lobster with rice pilaf and cole slaw. Outstanding!!! Definitely will return and try other items as well. Great service and the owner was very personable and ensured our entire Defenders group was satisfied. Very much so! Prices reasonable. Highly recommend.

Their marinated wings have to be the best kept secret on the North Shore! Their chicken sandwiches are always fresh! The owners could not be better corporate citizens and their team understand the 40 years of cooking science.....Awesome, I'm bias, I'll admit it, but it's just great fresh food!

Blue fin was the selection for my son's 42 birthday. We took him and his 33 month old daughter and we had a great time.We had reservations which I made on-line and were seated immediately. The table was preset with a high chair. Parking was right outside.Started out with drinks: my wife a Blue Fin Cocktail ($8.75) which was very blue, me: Large Hot Saki ($8.00) which was hot, my son: Kurosawa ($18) which was steep. My granddaughter was served up a nice cold cup of water with a straw. The waitress was very accommodating to the young one making suggestions along the way.We then had some appetizers Butabara Kushi ($2.50) which is pork belly, Yakitori with scallion Kushi ($2.00) which is chicken, and Steak Kushi ($3.50). These were all skewered bite size pieces. We shared the Yakitori with our young one and she loved it.We decided to go all out with a $100 sushi boat (50 pieces chef selection). The boat was very attractive and the server took the time to tell us what the various items were. We all enjoyed the sushi and found the scallops were the best. Octopus was the toughest but still tasty. The spider roll (soft shell crab) was delicious as well. We found that there was generally at least one piece of each type of sushi for each of the 3 adults meaning we all had the opportunity to sample the fair. The boat came with Miso soup for each adult. We enjoyed the soup and shared it with your young grandaughter who loved it.My grandaughter had a kids plate ($7.50) with corn and fried chicken served with ketchup. Our server told us to order another item and we chose steamed dumplings. She enjoyed the corn and chicken but passed on the dumplings possibly because we dipped the first piece in soy sauce. I think she may have eaten it if we gave it to her sans soy sauce.Again, service was excellent. Our server also took photos for us and brought out a piece of ginger ice cream for our son (with a candle). Our granddaughter wasn't the only young one in the place. Drinks were reasonably priced except the pricey Kurosawa (bottle cold saki). The Large Sushi boat at $100 seems expensive but it could have fed 4 comfortably...both my son and I love sushi so we went with the largest boat.Dress is casual and this is NOT a fancy Boston Sushi place (meaning this doesn't have the super high end sushi but also it doesn't carry the super Boston prices. We are repeat customers and we will return.
