Friendly warn welcome awaits, fun local restaurant (which is a bakery during the day). Comfortable modern interior with some amusing quirky additions. Food is excellent. we had a mixed ceviche platter to begin and pasta for mains. There are some excellent deserts on display, presumably made by the bakery during the day, which are well worth leaving room for! Excellent wine recommendations.

We were lucky enough to visit this delightful restaurant for a full pasta making experience. We were taken through the making of many varieties of pasta and it was clear they are absolute experts in pasta and appropriate accompaniments. Our lunch was absolutely delicious and we were lucky enough to sample some of the fresh pasta we had created.If you are even remotely close to this wonderful restaurant we would highly recommend a visit if not for the pasta making experience, then definitely for lunch or dinner. A truly unique and personalized experience!

It's no surprise I am pleased with my visit, reading the reviews. The service was utterly impeccable, the food cooked and matched to perfection - really treating my palate, and the menu was exciting with pages to choose from. It's very apparent how much this restaurant is cared for by the owner and she took her time with us, took pride in her food, and made us feel completely comfortable and cared for. I love the environment she has created with the service. Very high end service and downright good food. If you are in Lecce, make the stop here. It is worth it!

It's just that none of them on Lecce Or Puglia like Makani 2Life Restaurant To be sure of finding another place like this you will have to head to Tokyo, where they cluster like so many pigeons around a split sack of seed. Here, restaurant with just one chef and 40 luxrory tables are hardly common. We had the most amazing lunch here today, lobster Pasta, incredible!!! We have been in Puglia fore one week and this has been the best food so far. It was so fresh modern and beautifully presented. If we were staying longer we would come back everyday and work our way through the menu. Chef/owner are fantastic and are quite rightly proud of their fresh and wonderful produce. Go you will not be disappointed

Worth the walk to try this exemplary local restaurant. I booked by email and Adriano was quick to respond. Friendly welcome and a great balance between warm hospitality and professional formality. Particularly enjoyed the selection of plates 'from the garden'. the wine recommendations were also excellent.

I was embarrassed I recommended this restaurant to my friends. No sparkling wine while selecting the menu set the tone for a disaster ahead. Expecting fine dining we booked the traditional tasting menu. Ritz biscuits as one of the appetizers! Over cooked pasta followed potato balls and potato cake. The only saving grace was the wine. Poorly trained young waiter. The chef in fairness offered dinner on the house but what an evening a real shame!

Lovely little family restaurant in a quiet residential area, well frequented by locals. Every care and attention from the owner and staff, everything we had was great - pasta with spicy soft cheese and tomato delicious. Just outside the old town, this is a neighbourhood restaurant mainly frequented by Italians but probably used for something a little bit more special. The owner really takes pride in his restaurant. Reservations necessary. The food was excellent and beautifully presented. A very enjoyable experience

We just spent 3 weeks in Italy and dined at a number of mid and high range restaurants each night and most days for lunch. My husband and I rate this restaurant as our number one choice for a number of reasons:- the host/waiter's (Giovanni) service was impeccable, the bread was all freshly made and delicious. We opted for the a la carte menu and each dish was fantastic. The price was very, very reasonable. We also had a great Puglian red Primitivo wine, very good and very reasonably price. Only 6 tables. You can see the creativity and care that goes into the food. We highly recommend this restaurant.
