Wonderful place for dinner. In the Spring and Summer the terrace is just the perfect spot. The food was perfectly prepared. Prawns for a starter, sole for main and the most amazing creme Brule, top with Pineapple and out of this world,white Toblerone mousse. Service was just as good. One of my Italian friends once told me that I should first order "Minestrone" and if the soup is not greasy, the vegetables are fresh and tasty, only then decide to stay on in the restaurant. I was positively impressed by the âminestroneâ with various fresh Italian vegetables. My wife and I, together with our friends, visited this restaurant in Männedorf as I read the article about this newly opened restaurant in a local newspaper. The restaurant is conveniently located, about 100m from the railway station in Oberdorf, also not so far from the ship-landing of Männedorf. The restaurant itself is not so big and in this evening on Friday the restaurant was full. What we also appreciated was the fact that they have their own parking spaces for their own guests. What we get here is the food that a traditional Italian family would cook, say, on a Saturday, for an evening family dinner. Their various dishes are fresh and indeed reminded me of Italian family dishes. I had "veal steak with sweet primitivo-onion sauce and risotto". It was excellent. I really hope that this restaurant will survive in the tough world of gastronomy. We will definitely visit this restaurant often in the future.

We popped in here last night after having driven past it a few times. And I'm very glad we did, as we will definitely be back. We were welcomed by lovely stuff into a cosy and inviting environment. My husband had a great pizza, which at CHF 22 is reasonable for swiss standards. I had THE most delicious Lamb Osso-Bucco with polenta, which I highly recommend! Enjoy it with a glass of very good house red.

We went there for a business dinner and all of us were very satisfied with the great service and excellent food... A bit expensive though, but it's "Goldküste" anyways! Thumbs up!
