I asked my Italian friend to dinner as a belated birthday gift, his favorite food is Japanese so he chose Star which is an all you can eat Japanese restaurant featuring sushi, some chinese food and cooked dishes. I understand the irony of going to a country whose own cuisine is superb and eating japanese but it was an unusual and interesting experience, I felt like I was back home in the Bay area for a couple hours. If you need a sushi hit and want to limit your spending you can come to Star and get reasonable, not great, sushi, the nigiri choices are limited, for a set price of 22 euro.

Ci siamo fermati in un giorno lavorativo,fuori orario pranzo,più o meno alle 14:45Abbiamo chiesto un pranzo veloce,il proprietario e lo staff,ci hanno accontentato. Il tutto con gentilezza ed educazione, una cosa non da tutti riaccendere la cucina per 2 primi piatti. Comunque il locale é bello ed accogliente ed anche pulito e ben tenuto. Abbiamo potuto assaggiare solamente un primo piatto, ma di ottima qualità . .. se il buongiorno si vede dal mattino, direi che mi è sembrato un buon ristorante.

On the way back to Bologna from Ravenna, we stopped in Lugo.On a Sunday night Lugo was sleepy, there was not much open.Up on the hill we could see the parasols of a restaurant in the fortress...We discovered "Rocca", a classy, modern Italian restaurant with young staff.It is little pricey, and the cuisine is a bit on the rich side, but romantic and very good food.One of the best white wines by the glass we've had in Italy (the Sauvignon Blanc).No-one speaks English (or French), but we managed.We were the only tourists in the restaurant (or the town, or so it seemed).The restaurant was packed.

Bar di passaggio e piuttosto frequentato sulla statale che da Imola porta a Conselice.Ambiente piccolo ove si trova il bar vero e proprio, la rivendita di Tabacchi e l'angolo delle slot-machine.Si può facilmente comprendere come lo spazio limitato non faccia appieno degustare quanto proposto.Credo valga la pena di fare qualche chilometro in più per trovare qualcosa di meglio.

I have been at Artigiano with my fiancee and our families and we definitely adored our visit there! The location was situated in a fantastic area, where you had the choice to stay indoor or outdoor. The food was delicious: a perfect combination of local and sophisticated plates. The service was fast and courteous. I strongly suggest it to everyone! As a professional chef I had the privilege of spending an afternoon and evening cooking with the extremely talented Chef/owner of La Locanda Bagnara. Chef Mirko, formerly the Executive Chef at the famous Quisisana Hotel in Capri, uses only the freshest seasonal ingredients and adapts his menu daily to showcase these items. When I visited we cooked no less than 15 different varieties of fish, hand picked by Chef Mirko himself at the fish market in Ravenna. Chef Mirko's passion for cooking shines through in every dish he creates- his philosophy is to use the best ingredients and let them speak for themselves without masking their flavours with cream, butter or strong sauces. Instead he compliments their flavours with fresh herbs, extra virgin olive oil and unobstructed vegetable purees and reductions. In a country where not much emphasis is placed on presentation (because everything looks and tastes so good anyway) Chef Mirko takes pride in making beautiful plates and likes to play with different textures and colours which further enhance his delicious dishes. Following my informative experience Chef Mirko treated me to a divine seafood tasting menu accompanied by a great selection of local wines from his extensive cellar. La Locanda Bagnara is situated in a historic building on the square in the picturesque village of Bagnara di Romagna and is definitely worth the trip if you're in the region. It's good enough to be a destination restaurant and in case you have too much wine, you can always stay over because there are a few rooms available upstairs!

Siamo stati in questo ristorante dopo tanti anni che non c'ero piu' andato. Bella sorpresa nel vedere una qualita' e quantita' era rimasta invariata, anzi mi sembra che il livello si sia innalzato. Cortesia e velocita' nel servizio (i tempi piu' che accettabili calcolando che era pieno) piatti abbondanti a prezzi piu' che onesti. Tagliere (abbiamo mangiato in 3) di formaggio e pizza fritta e salumi tagliatelle al ragu' strozzapreti con funghi e melanzane, 2 tagliate con rucola e grana patate al forno , 1 castrato, 1 coniglio alla cacciatora2 h2o 1/2 vino 4 caffe' 128 euro (eravamo in 6 e nessuno si e' alzato con la fame) che dire da tornarci la prox volta prenotero' le rane!!!

Ubicato nel centro di Massa Lombarda, di fronte ad un comodo parcheggio pubblico, il locale si presenta curato, moderno e caratterizzato da simpatici quadri alle pareti.Durante la settimana, a pranzo, viene proposto un menù completo a base di pesce (primo, secondo, contorno, acqua e coperto) a 12 euro.Io ho provato strigoli gamberi e zucchine, orata e insalata mista: piatti buoni, ben presentati ed in quantità abbondante (non sono riuscito a terminare l'orata...).Per il resto: personale cortese, tempi di attesi giusti, rapporto qualità /prezzo eccellente.Che dire: se lavorassi a Massa Lombarda ci tornei più spesso
