I highly recommend this excellent Italian restaurant just outside Venice. My husband's Italian friends took us there on strong recommendations and we were pleasantly surprised by the very polite service and the delicious food. Their specialty is Baccala (cod fish) and they cook it in a variety of different ways. We all had the menu degustation and had the opportunity to taste Baccala in every shape and form imaginable - also not one part of the fish went to waste, from the roe to the fillet to the tongue! It was a splendid culinary adventure and... if you still don't feel that adventurous, they have a pizza catalogue. We didn't go conservative, but for some Italian families that did... the pizza on their tables looked delicious. While no-one spoke English - obviously a small difficulty - the restaurant is also very family and children friendly, even at 10pm we could see small children sitting with their parents at the tables in children's high chairs giggling happily at their pizzas...

Roberto and his team have done an exceptional effort to create a place where you will have to come back again and again.The limited menu ensures high quality . Wine list is extensive and Roberto himself is the best person to suggest you the perfect wine for your food.

Ordered gnocchi but was severely disappointed. Undercooked, coated in oil and not seasoned well. Luckily the waiter saw that I left an uneaten meal and asked me if I wanted something else, and got the spaghetti with clams which was good. Good service-mind which saved the score for this restaurant.

Found this place on trip advisor. Thanks trip advisor! Prosecco is â¬1.50 and aperol spritz is â¬2.50, amazing value and if you visit at the right time of day the atmosphere is great with plenty of locals having an aperativ and catching up. We did not eat inside the restaurant area but we did order pre made fish dishes from the bar area which are heating up as required by the staff. Thanks to the staff for their patience with our attempts at Italian and for translating what they could with some of the dishes. Everything we had was delicious and we visited each night of our stay in Venice. We only wish they had a bar near our home! Enjoy!

I past this place many times going to a local home depot and never took care of it. My daughter went once and she was enthusiastic, my wife reserved and we went. Surprise! Cozy atmosphere, industrial style appropriate with the "industrial" Marghera. Good food, original plates and flavor, excellent wine selection. Don't look around, go inside and enjoy the food!

Had amazing dinner experience at this neighbourhood restaurant. We ordered falafel & hummus for starters...it was so good! For main we got the tuna wasabi pasta...amazing flavours! And save the best for the last....for dessert we got the strawberry cheese cake...to die for! Overall 11/10 for the experience...love everything about this place highly recommended! I'm sure the tapas and drinks on the terrace and downstairs are fun, but the upstair dining was not as amazing as i hoped after reading the reviews...We arrived to a terrace full of Italians, super busy, good vibe! But the food upstairs was not impressive. We ordered tuna steaks, low quality and quit tasteless. The black and gold risotto was avarage. The wine was good tho.Posso rispondere?ma perché invece di spendere soldi in viaggi non vi fate un corso di abbinamenti vino e cibo. Prima di dare giudizi e fare figure assurde? Tartare di salmone carpaccio di pesce. Risotto al seppie e oro.tagliata di tonno.vino da lei scelto Brunello di Montalcino... à come avere delle lame sulla lingua. Io potrei consigliare una zuppa di cipolla e cappuccino Ahahah...cordiali saluti

One of the better seafood eating experiences that we've ever had! Although the restaurant is small and in a section of town that is possibly not the best, it is well worth a visit if you are in the Venezia area. We found the menu to be exciting, effectively showcasing the best seasonal shellfish and finfish from nearby Venice Lagoon and the Adriatic Sea. The raw appetizers were particularly wonderful, and a great introduction to Venetian cuisine. Even the desserts and liquor selection (20 year old Scotch? who would have thought?) were splendid. The small space was cleverly designed and decorated, and the staff very welcoming, knowledgeable, and passionate about good food. We ended up going two nights in a row since we were so impressed, and didn't think we could find a comparable meal for the price (which was not cheap, but reasonable for what you get).

complte change from the old Amelia which was an excellent fish restaurant. now it is a meat restaurant however the level is excellent with high quality products. the atmosphere is pleasant and i believe they will improve their already excellent level
