We have been eyeing up this restaurant for10 days but never finding it open (august holiday?) and tonight it didn't disappoint ! All of us loved the food and drinks. The waiter kindly told me about the portion size (generous) and so I.we could amend our order. The quality was really good and the food, drink and service represented tip top value for money. Only downside was no music and as we were among the first diners, we would have liked a little bit if music.
Compliments to the stuff: all of them were very friendly and kind! Most of all the cook did a great work!!!Thank you A Borgoforte siamo internazionali :)Abbiamo anche del cibo internazionale però.... tipo il ribeye di black angus irlandese, i gamberoni argentini, le acciughe del mar cantabrico....Insomma c'è n'è per tutti i gusti. Naturalmente abbiamo la pizza che al Fate Vobis è un cult!!Ti aspettiamo.

Good Pizza and Salat for a reasonable price, almost all special is served with fisch or seafood, that's the great specialty. My schrimp cheese pizza was good and I was well served.

We visited here after passing by on a previous evening and seeing how busy it was. Pizzas seemed popular but we chose alternatives. They were quite good and plentiful though mine was slightly burned. The main disadvantage was that my husband had almost finished his before mine arrived. Maybe we should have had the pizza as I see other reviewers really rate them. Fairly inexpensive.

This lovely traditional restaurant is centrally located, quite dark before youâre surprised by a very, spacious lovely, siena colored dining room with high ceilings and some frescoes still peaking through. Tables covered in white table cloths. The young waiter who served us was extremely competent and professional, skillful, helpful but not invasive. A rarity today. The food was outstanding. No hip and trendy, just wonderfully prepared with care, delicious, balanced. Clearly a chef who has experience and a fine sense of esthetics. We ate several first and second courses before desert: tagliatelle con seppioline, fave piselli â cuttlefish cut to resemble tagliatelle, beautifully tender and fresh served with vibrantly green fave and peas; a saddle of rabbit encased in bacon, pheasant with a small amount of foie gras and marasca cherries- all perfectly cooked. To illustrate the chefâs take on traditional dishes â we ate ravioli stuffed with four different cheeses, a slight acidity probably due to hint of lemon, perfectly seasoned, light and so much more interesting than the ordinary ricotta filling. I also ate a a pasta analogous to bavette or pappardelle with a sauce of zucchini flowers, and two succulent, perfectly cooked mazzancolle shrimp. Every dish was impeccable. Desserts also very creative â we tried the outstanding white chocolate covered sphere filled with passion fruit ice cream, a lemon tart, and a simple fresh fruit plate accompanied by raspberry sorbet with a surprising caramelized orange rind. I had wine by the glass â a white Tocai which was lovely, not pricey, and well suited to the dishes I ordered. I highly recommend this restaurant for its creative variation on classic Italian food. An outstanding chef, who deserves a reputation due to his food and approach: no gimmicks or trendy displays, no âphilisophyâ and mission statements which have become, alas, typical of the less competent and marketing-âhollywoodâ driven younger chefs whose egos are all too often bigger than their talent or creativity. The restaurant is slightly expensive but it worth every penny.

For sure the quality is above the line with the fresh fish that melts in your mouth. Also the location is quite good-looking and warm for a romantic dinner but I think that the price is too high for the sushi.I ate in other restaurant and I spend less for the same quality and I am not referring to "all you can eat" restaurants.Receipt: Big bowl sushi sashimi (picture n.1) + 2 uramaki (16 rolls; picture n.2) + water = 68 euros. We left of the restaurant still hungry!I do not recommend this restaurant if you want to treat yourself with sushi unless you had a huge meal before!

This homey trattoria is the only restaurant of consequence near the Residenza La Villa, and our host directed us there the first night of our stay. With its Italian country decor and cuisine, the restaurant benefits from a pleasant, relaxing atmosphere and a warm, friendly staff. Our multi-lingual waiter was a font of information about the menu, and delighted in chatting up visitors. The fare here is unusual, a blend of the traditional and the contemporary, with an emphasis on local specialties. Our calamari starter was a bit tough, but the branzino carpaccio was succulent, and the quail risotto we shared had a rich, smoky taste, complimented by a sauce of merlot and local cheese. Not everything on the menu may be to everyone's taste, but for those willing to go beyond their comfort zone, you won't go away hungry.

We were made to feel so welcome here by the friendly staff. They speak good English and nothing was too much trouble. The restaurant is tucked away behind the domed Basilica San Andrea, but just a few minutes on foot. The food was truly delicious and all the staff were helpful and enthusiastic, yet quiet and unobtrusive. When we booked for a second dinner here the chef prepared extra gluten free delicacies specially for my wife. We loved the range of different foods showcasing the specialities of Mantova and of Sicily. Highly recommended!

Very pleasant surprise during our stay in Mantua. Friends of us booked for a dinner within this romantic and high-quality restaurant. It's in the suburbs of the city, really close to the center but you must go there by car or cab.Food is very refined and delicious, prepared with really fresh raw materials: anchovies, baby squids and "mazzancolle" shrimps were our main ingredients. Here you can feel the typical preparation and service of south of Italy, even if you're deep in the north.
