Fresh seafood with nice atmosphere. Came here 2 days in a row for the shrimps and the fish. They grill it for you, the price includes rice, sambal matah, tomato chilli and pickles.Come earlier so that you can sit facing the beach.

I had the seafood curry, really fresh and great flavours. (My advice in any Warung/Indonesian restaurant you visit whilst here would be to specify the spice / chilli level though or you may find it too mild to taste, they tend to err on the side of caution when catering for Westerners. I had mine spicy as I can take a lot of chilli but would rate the chilli level as a comfortable and tasty 6 or 7/10.) My appetiser was the prawn cocktail - again really fresh and the accompanying salad and sauces were great. A glass of wine (which is quite expensive - it is everywhere though) and my meal for one came to 214,000 IRD including taxes and service charge. Very reasonable and great quality.

We were excited to be going back to Joglo after a number of years. It was one of our favourites. We were very disappointed. I had the chicken cordon bleu whilst my husband had a steak. The cordon Bleu was tough and tasteless. I think it had been defrosted and cooked. My husbands steak was tough and also tasteless. The staff seemed tired and disinterested. We wonât go back.

The restaurant is an open-sided pavilion where guests can see the Indian Ocean and The Nusa Penida Island from different angle. Open daily from 07.30 - 24.00
Ate here many times during our stay. The food is tasty and well presented. Our favourite was the snapper but a very small portion, could have been more vegetables. Disappointed with vegetable burger as very dry. unfortunately I had stomach cramps and diarrhoea after the grilled chicken one evening so stayed away from chicken after that. Breakfast was good with a variety to choose from. Beautiful setting by the sea and great service.Dear franl644,We are very sorry to hear that your dining experience was not up to your expectation. We never had any issue with the quality of our meat in the past as well as the portioning however we take note your comment and will look into it immediately to make any correction is required and rest assured that you will have a better experience in the future.Thank you for your pointing out the beautiful setting, great service and good variety of food at breakfast. We look forward to welcoming you back.Best regards,Gede Widia

Simply Balinese, a hidden away secret Garden Restaurant. It is a lovely open restaurant with a beautiful Garden and small fish pond and ceiling fans to circulate the air. A very pleasant spot to sit on a warm, sticky evening and enjoy a tasty, not expensi
We are staying close by so strolled into this Warung. We were welcomed by many smiles and a beautiful setting. The front doesn't reveal the hidden treasure behind. There is plenty on the menu to choose from and the food we picked was fantastic. Prices are good too. We will come again. Thanks

Tis family run warung doesnât look fancy or stylish like other tourist-orientated warungs, but the owners are such nice people and the food is great! We ate 4 times there. My friend always had grilled fish (50 000) and I had Nasi Goreng, Mie Goreng and Gado Gado (35000) plus fresh fruit juices (15000), fried bananas with ice cream and chocolate sauce (20000) and milkshakes. The fish (a large piece) was perfectly grilled and tasty and comes with some kind of small vegetable/glass noodle soup, 2 dips(peanut sauce and a tomato-like sauce) and of course Rice. The Nasis and Gado Gado are delicious (nasi a bit better than mie ) and very much. The peanut sauce is just yummy! The milkshakes and the fried banana taste great, too. There are few vegetarian options, but you can order the nasi/bami goreng without meat. Here you get much for your money.

we've been here for 5 nights (alila mangis), tried out some other restaurants around but seasalt is completely outstanding. we never had such a good restaurant in all our asia-vacations. of course expensive compared to local warungs BUT it is outstanding high-class cuisine, no matter what you order (fish, wine, beef, salads, any drinks, desserts etc). 6 stars out of 5.

The small restaurant (Warung) near the main road and the beach. We serve Western and Indonesian Cuisine.Open 11 am - 11 pm
Met a German lass in a salon who recommended this place (for our last night in Candidasa). Enjoyed entrees, mains and just had room to share a spicy chocolate samosa. All yummy! The juices were great and the arak is good (always have it neat, spoils the flavour otherwise). Would be back if we weren't leaving tomorrow.

Having visited this warung a couple of years ago we went there directly on arrival in Candidasa! Not disappointed. Sitting upstairs gives a delightful view of rice fields and mountains. The meals were delicious on each visit - freshly cooked and nicely presented Indonesian food. Vegan and gluten free people should check with the owner - they are so helpful. Do not miss eating at this wonderful warung. Look forward to returning on our next visit to Candidasa.

The restaurant overlooks the lagoon and is located on the main road. There is a fine selection of Indonesian and Western food on the menu nd friendly staff
Nice resturant. Friendly staff. Prices are excluded 15% tax which means that the prices of the food is high. Prawn meal is to much paid for only 2 king prawns (ca. 7 euro) . The rest of the food was enough in portion.
