Great food and also great ambience! The waiting staff was very nice and made sure we were comfortable. We ordered several dishes from appetizers to main dishes and they were all good. As an appetizer we got the Mediterraneo which was delicious, and then we got the shrimp and fish kebobs which were perfectly cooked and very tasty.Overall a great experience and would go back again next time I am there!

If yes, do not hesitate: from sea food to grilled octopus, everything is there. Various type of chevice...it is really a must if you enjoy this south American food. But take care: the mains are huuuuge, so do not exagerate with the starters, otherwise you need to be really hungry!! Pain point: no big choice for the sweet.

Marea Altea is a pleasant eatery in Managua with a relaxed, casual atmosphere and decent quality seafood. The menu is quite diverse with traditional seafood house offerings and local specialties such as a number of ceviches and seafood carpaccios. Nothing stellar but solid, decent fare.

Terraza Cevichera, located in Managua, offers excellent fish and seafood ceviches and cold specialties. Our shrimp and octopus salad and fish carpaccios are the best in town. Come and discover it!!
The portions are really big and the beers are always cold but it seems that they never have every thing that they offer in the menu. Also the service is slow! I had to call the waiter three times to get the bill but Im sure they will improve that.

I visited this restaurant with a coworker and our driver. The atmosphere was really very nice and I could not have asked for a more comfortable first dinner in Managua. I ordered the Churrasco which, while exceedingly tasty, was a bit tough. The atmosphere though was more than enough to make up for it. I will be back. The best part was the man who gave us a charming serenade. One of those things you will remember for life.

WOW, I had heard about Acholado: my friends said it was pricey, but really good. Having eaten Peruvian food IN Peru, I was a bit skeptical...but boy, was I pleasantly surprised! First off, the ambiance grabbed me: clean lines, modern interior with a colorful chalkboard "specials" menu with at the entrance, dark wood touches and bench-style seating on comfy orange cushions. The menu is also a graphic designer's delight with descriptions of the traditional dishes. Besides different Piscos, they offer a varied menu of cocktails: all of the ones my friends ordered were delicious. Then, there's the food...another WOW, both artfully and tastefully done! I ordered the "original" Causa: mmm, a delicious play of flavours on your palette! Even their desserts wow'ed me: friends loved the arroz con leche while the Suspiro limeño was sublime. If you want to treat yourself, this is the place to go!

I met Becky, the owner of this restaurant, and she was readily able to accommodate my vegetarian diet and allergies. I tried many items and all were delicious! The staff and service were excellent. I loved the tropical feel with the gardens and fountain (complete with birds) on the patio. I will definitely return for another meal on my next trip to Managua.

Well, the name of the place âgastronomÃaâ tells you a lot about it. Itâs definitely the nicest place to come a hace a decent meal, well thought in every detail, and very healthy. We order some of the new inventions of the owner, and it was delicious. But the thing that surprised us the most was dessert, ice cream made with olive oil, albahaca, and tomato.!! As weird as it sounds, it was unbelievable good.. it was delicious. The owner was a very very very kind person and very patient to explain every single detail of what he cooks, and with so much love and passion. I definitely recommend gastronomÃa el buzo, and definitely will come back again.Thank you for your comment, it was great to have you with us. And of course you will be more than welcome in your next visit, maybe we will have some new creations for you to enjoy.Greets
