One of two restaurants at the southern end of the beach promenade, always busy with locals, not too many cruise shippers and it's perfect to sit at a table on the beach and have quality fresh seafood - always tasty, promptly served and well staffed. Hands down my favorite ceviche in town.

We walked down to Luna de Plata from Caballo Blanco Hotel for dinner. The atmosphere was comfortable and staff very welcoming. All courses were timely served and very tasty. We will return on future visits to this hidden dinner spot.

Restaurant with view over the ocean. Patio and picknick tables right on the beach. Our signature dish is a stuffed pineapple with shrimps and lots of other ingredients
I wanted a quiet, relaxing place to hang out on the last stop of our cruise. This place was perfect for just that. The margaritas were divine and the stuffed pineapple was the best! I am going to try and recreate it, but I'm afraid mine will be lacking. The beach was a little seaweedy, so we didn't swim, but we enjoyed their wonderful chairs and hammocks. It was very relaxing and the food and drinks were wonderful. The manager/owner was very friendly and accommodating. I really enjoyed this resort. Thanks!

Pitaya Beach is a brand new beach club in Costa Maya. Bar, restaurant, massages, beach club and beach break promotions for cruise ships clients.
My wife and I spent a great beach day off our cruise ship at Pitaya . Pearla and her staff are very warm and friendly and the service is beyond improvement . The variety and quality of their food is wonderful and impressively traditional Mexican . The real deal and it was perfect . The beach is enjoyable and once you` er in the water perfect . There is some sea grass but no big deal at all . The sea floor is lumpy and bumpy and the water is crystal clear . All in all , a great day .

Yaya Beach is the newest beach club in Costa Maya, Mahahual. Our goal is to satisfy our customers by offering an unforgettable beach experience. What we call "Yaya day" will be the best memory of your vacation: it's not a regular beach break - our guests
We made a reservation in advance. You can even book the chair that you want. I had one in the front by the water. The beach was beautiful. The water was calm enough for swimming. I booked a package that included drinks. You are restricted on the drinks that you can order. I would recommend a la carte for both drinks and food. The food was great!I didnât have great service there. My waiter only came by if I called out for him. My umbrella didnât have a call button either. My family who had a different waiter had great service though. Luck of the draw..I had a beach massage. It was nice. I would definitely recommend this beach.

The place where you can sample the delights of the sea with the variety of dishes we offer for you ... All at the edge of the Caribbean, safe and friendly environment, Personalized Attention to Their Owners. Offering all the facilities for free. Palapas S
Loved the Krazy Lobster. Food was tasty and the drinks were cold. First Rita was free. Cerveza was 5 for $5 and the amount of food they brought out was beyond generous. We didnât stay for the beach but the sargassum is very bad and all of the beaches in Costa Maya are suffering.

Costa Maya's first eco-friendly boutique style hotel and beach club.
We visited Evan and his charming staff for the VIP beach break during our March Break Western Caribbean cruise.I made the arrangements via email at the suggestion of another beach club that was full for the date we needed and Evan the proprietor responded quickly to my inquiries. We are a very well traveled family and found the service, food and drinks to be exemplary! After exiting the port we found a taxi for the 10 minute ride to the property. Before my husband could pull out his wallet to pay for the cab ride a helpful staff member was approaching to look after the fare (it's included with the VIP package). We then went inside to meet Evan, an expat from Texas who is a consummate host! He explained that he only takes a limited number of clients for this experience in order to provide the best personalized experience for his guests. The property is beautiful and clean. After a brief tour (including our reserved chairs and umbrellas steps from the beach and the fresh water showers) we were shown to the small restaurant and ordered a delicious breakfast including personalized fresh made smoothies. My teenage son ordered the Nutella and banana crepes (twice!), my daughter and I had the veggie crepes and my husband had a custom made omelette. Everything was delicious with obviously fresh ingredients. After breakfast we settled into our beach chairs to enjoy the day. The beach is small but well tended. There is a comfie hammock suspended above the water just a few steps into the ocean. There is also a convenient sand bar that allows you to walk a fair distance into the water without getting in too deep. Because there was only one other family there that day the personalized service we received was outstanding! The staff continuously took our drink and food orders and brought them to our chairs, always with a smile. The drinks were fabulous (all-included). Top shelf liquors and fresh fruit ingredients. No yucky pre-made syrups here! My teenage daughter had the most delicious virgin strawberry daiquiri and my husband tried several fresh fruit concoctions of the bartender's creation. My son (having just turned 18) tried many delicious creations as well. The bartender was even attentive enough to create a drink especially for my son that my son had looked up on his phone! Did I mention the wifi was also very quick? I was hooked on the bloody Mary's that the started serving me just after breakfast. And to accompany the drinks the most delicious, fresh guacamole we have ever had.Lunch was even better than breakfast. My husband pronounced the lobster one of the best he has ever had. My daughter had the steak and they even made her a special house version of steak sauce on the side when she asked for A-1.Mid afternoon we were all treated to beachside massages in the shade by yet more smiling staff (also included). With the ocean sounds in the background it was heavenly. Although we were sad to leave, our cab was waiting for us exactly when we had requested (pre-paid) to get us back to our ship.Overall it was a perfect beach day. We have lots of pictures (and memories) and we hope to return again. Thanks Evan and staff for the outstanding service, food and drinks!

This is not an exclusive beach resort! This is a restaurant with sun beds on a beach, which anyone can and did access. We booked this thinking it was, as described, on their website as an âExclusive Costa Maya Beach Breakâ. However, when we arrived, we were disappointed to see that it was just some sun beds on the beach across the road from the restaurant. The sun beds are old and in need of replacement. We paid $100 as we have in the past on Cozumel, and for other beach resorts, but these did have a private beach with luxury sun beds. Lots of people came and ate in the restaurant and some just hired the sun beds. The staff were friendly, helpful and we could have as much to eat & drink as we wanted. However, just be aware this is, what it is.

Ibiza offers massages right in front of their restaurant and they were some of the best that we have ever had on the boardwalk! One hour for $20 and I gave them a nice tip since they were awesome.Manuel one of the restaurant staff members was the person that brought us into the restaurant and drinks. He has such a great personality and nice friendly approach. The restaurant has great music playing at the right sound level so you can listen and stills talk.We will definitely be back and Manuel better be there! Wow, he is very impressive and the atmosphere is fantastic! The food and drink are priced exceptionally good compared to most other restaurants on the boardwalk.I consider this place a great find!Hey, Jmraggs! Thanks for your review! It's nice to read that you really enjoyed the time with us. We hope to see you again very soon at Ibiza Sunset! :)

Come enjoy a day at the beautiful caribean in Costa Maya. We will keep bringing the food and drinks to your beach chair. Try our world famous shrimp tacos and fresh ceviche, a place for the whole familiy. Ven y disfruta un dÃa en la playa de Mahahual mien
We booked this independent of our cruise. It was fabulous! Carlos met us at the road where the taxi dropped us off. We spent several lazy hours being waited on by Carlos and Martin. The food is excellent, as are the drinks. Very charming atmosphere on a beautiful portion of beach. Lots of vendors, who arenât pushy. We bought a nice beach hat. The fish ceviche was the highlight, followed by the chips and excellent salsa. The shrimp tacos were very good, as well, but I was disappointed that the shrimp were deep fried, not grilled. My daughters chicken tacos looked very good. I would highly recommend this spot for lunch, or a cruise stop. They took very good care of us. Thanks, Jaimeâs!Thank you very much for you kind words. We are so glad the hear that you and your family enjoyed your time at Jaime's Blue Reef. We hope you are able to visit us again soon. When you return we will be happy to grill the shrimp for you tacos:-)
