I've always loved Long John Silvers. Some locations, like the one in Beloit, Wisconsin are terrible. This one is always fresh and hot. Service is usually pretty friendly too.

This place is amazing and has amazing people working here. The food is outstanding and the service even more so. We saw the staff find a pillow for an elderly woman so she could sit higher at the table and they did it with such dignity for her.The piano player and bass player were great to listen to. For food I had the shrimp de jonge, Yum!This was the only glitch: my husband wanted Prime Rib but they were already sold out on Sat.eve. but management apologized and offered the next best steak and comped the cost difference. Wow! This place is beautiful and clean. [The only little wear and tear was on the fabric on the semi circle seats.]Cost for dinner and drinks came to 68.00. [excl.tip]

Nunzio’s is a Rockford institution. It offers a great selection with great food. It isn’t a fancy place so it is great for family and friends. Definitely love the pizza. Thank you very much

Three of us met here for breakfast midweek. We were greeted right away and offered drinks. The coffee is good and the cup never ran dry. As expected by the name they have a large menu of breakfast choices. I peaked at the lunch menu and it was filled with the usual things found at our local family establishments. I ordered the Chorizo skillet and the other two ordered the special, cinnamon French toast. The menu listed ingredients that could be ordered with an omelet or skillet. I chose the salsa and avocado. The food tasted very good. I asked for crispy hash browns for my skillet and they were nice and crispy. When I received the bill I was surprised to see that I had been charged for the salsa and the 1/2 sliced avocado. There was no price indicated on the menu. I'm not so upset with the $1.55 charge for the 1/2 avocado because currently the market for them is expensive. However, the $.95 charge for the small plastic container of salsa is outrageous. I've eaten at many local restaurants and have never been charged for a condiment. No matter how good the service is or how good the food is this is a deal breaker for me. I won't patronize a business that gouges.
