I usually go on vacations on Maceió. I like this city, beaches and small "pousadas". Probably, I have already visited all goods rest/bars. Akuaba, nowadays, is one of the best ones. Its mix of Northeast and African cuisine is simple and efficient. How nobody thought it before? When you go, try "octopussy on the skewer", a tasty starter and "caipirinha de seriguela" with a regional fruit. Our main dish was ok: Calulu, shrimps with a strong sauce (oleo de dende) and quiabo, a sticky vegetable. If you do not like this kind of dish, it has lots of fish, meat and shrimps... Enjoy it!

They have a marvelous 'casquinha de siri' (crab musse) and local style fried fish, but, once again, when you ask the 'best dish' they offer 'fish belle meunierre' (!?!). Stay on local styles and try 'MASSUNIM' kind of a small sea clam on sauce that you mix with local manioc flour (mandioca) and it is a real peculiar dish (see movie). ZERO luxury. This is what Brazilian call 'dirty-foot' bar. Simple, humble but great local food and freezing beer.

Blessed by the constant energy of the Northeastern sun, bathed by the warm waters of the Atlantic ocean and located on the seafront on the paradisiacal Ipioca Beach, 20 km from the capital of Alagoas, Hibiscus follows the success of the Day-Clubs of Brazi
Nice club. A day use exclusive beach. They have all you need, from beach clothes to food and drinks. Great to visit with kids, friends, love one... During season, it´s imperative to arrive early, otherwise you´ll get no nice seat.If you´ll get a massage, book as soon as you arrive. There are an exclusive area for up to 10 people. This area, from Maceió to Recife is a great coral area. Warm water in a green sea. Fantastic view. Better than Caribe.Hello, thank you for the compliments and your visit! Come back more often.

Voltamos a funcionar a partir do dia 03 de janeiro de 2018. Bistro com vista panorâmica da praia de ipioca, especializada em frutos do mar.
Having past the tricky part of finding the place (a very narrow street beside an old church) and the challenge of maneuvering a big car in such a small space, we were blessed with the most spectacular view of the ocean and the coastline of Maceió! The menu has a lot of options, but each one pays due respect to the regional gastronomy. Loved the entrances! Macarajé is so good you risk asking for more and sending your diet to space! Nothing beats the "Caipirinha Especial", a mixed drink with pineapple, lemon, passion fruit and cachaça. The best I ever had! Even though they have special (delicious) dishes for kids, I wouldn't take toddlers to this panoramic restaurant, just for the sake of your peace of mind.Muito obrigada pela visita e pelos elogios. Fazemos tudo com carinho para atender as expectativas das pessoas. Esperamos ve-os novamente. Silvana Chamusca e Adriana

Not sure where the last reviewer ate but it couldn't have been at this restaurant. Beautiful ambiance, live music, eclectic clientele, and straight up authentic Italian cuisine. Didn't have the pizza, but it's what they're known for and many tables around us seemed to be enjoying it. We had bruschetta, calzone, eggplant and penne. The food was outstanding. Service was good, though you need to be animated to get the waiters attention. I find this to be the norm in the North East though. Only thing they could improve is to have a few fans installed as it can be quite hot with a full restaurant. I will return and recommend.

Where to eat Pizza food in Maceio: The Best Restaurants and Bars

There are two JANGA restaurants in Maceió, one in Ponta Verde and the second, which we visited, the JANGA PRAIA, in Pajuçara. It is brand new, facing the sea, a beautiful building completely renovated and with a modern and pleasant decoration. Perfect location, lighting and air conditioning. The service is impeccable, with helpful and friendly staff. Good wine list, though limited. But you should not judge the book by its cover. The food (sea-food, that we had), despite nice looking, is common, there are no exclusive dishes, only different names for the same thing. We ordered shrimp and octopus, paid for it, and got rice and potatoes and onions and vegetables (90%) and some shrimp or small pieces of octopus (10%, maybe). You can eat tastier, more plentiful and much cheaper dishes in other restaurants throughout the city. It looks like the owner invested a lot of money in this restaurant and thinks as a financier, not as a restaurateur: first my profit and then customer satisfaction. This can not work. It's not going to work. Not in a restaurant, in my opinion. Unless it changes radically.Hi, how are you?First of all, we'd like to thank you for your feedback, this helps us to always improve. Our food is prepared with a lot of affection and with the best ingredients to offer the best gastronomic experience to you. We were sad to hear that your experience here was like that. We want you to know that this is not the standard we are always seeking to offer our costumes. We hope you give us a chance in the future. We will be happy to serve you!A big hug,Janga Family.
