Reviews on Seafood food in Los Alamitos, California, United States. Los Alamitos ("The Little Cottonwoods" in Spanish) is a small city in Orange County, California. The city was incorporated in March 1960. The population was 11,449 at the 2010 census, down from 11,536 at the 2000 census. It is often mistakenly thought to include the adjacent but unincorporated community of Rossmoor (population just under 11,000), which uses Los Alamitos as its mailing address. The Los Alamitos Race Course is also widely believed to be in the city; although it does have a Los Alamitos postal address and zip code, it actually lies in the neighboring city of Cypress.

Sizzler is home to U.S.D.A Choice hand-cut steaks, seafood, including fresh, sustainable Salmon, all complimented by our Unlimited Craft Salad Bar.
Always enjoy going here as they treat seniors great with their soup, salad and beverage bar at a very reasonable price. The salad bar is not just salads, but a great taco, tostada selection, usually chicken wings, potato skins and pasta. Of course great soups, and to top it off great choice on deserts

I have been coming to Walt's Wharf since its first opening in 1970! I leved nearby in Belmont Shore and for the owners, the Babcocks to be gracious hosts with a wonderful grilled fresh fish and many unusual appetizers such as the grilled artichokes. Even many years later, and having to travel from either Arizona or Reno, NV, I always go back to Walt's! Thanks Babcocks for such great memories.

Nick's has simple, delicious food. The menu isn't overwhelming with choices and I have not had a bad meal here. My favorite is the fried chicken, but the fish and meat are also fresh and cooked to perfection. The sides and appetizers are unique and tasty. I like the asparagus fries and the shrimp taquitos. It is reasonably priced and well worth the cost, for the quality of the food. They have a full bar selection as well.

This place is small and intimate with comfortable seating and attractive decor. Our server Ashley would win Miss Personality in a heartbeat and she provided friendly, efficient service. We started with the Clam Chowder. It was thick and creamy with an abundance of good-sized clams. Unfortunately it was just lukewarm. Another reviewer commented on that as well. The kitchen needs a heads-up. Soup is supposed to be hot.We shared the Spinach and Bacon salad that could have fed 4 people as dinner salads. I was excited at the prospect of the corn bread croutons, but they were cold and stale with no flavor. They should try warmed, crunchy polenta croutons instead. The rest of the salad was good with a not too sweet dressing. We enjoyed it.Next, we tried the Blue Prawn Pasta and it was outstanding. The pasta was steaming hot, the 4 large prawns were perfectly cooked. It came with a topping of chopped arugula that added a nice bite. The Meyer lemon and Creme Fraiche sauce was fresh, delicate and lovely. And the asparagus and cherry tomatoes added more tasty surprises. We will definitely return and try some of the other menu items.

My parents and sister took my friends and I to dinner at this restaurant. What a wonderful experience with excellent service and food. The portions were ample and filling. We started with the friend calamari which was splendid and crispy. My meal opened with a salad, and then I had the salmon with grilled vegetables and garlic mashed potatoes. Excellent is an understatement. The rest of our party had a plethora of items that all looked delicious. The next time Iâm in Long Beach Iâll be eating here again. I just loved it! Next time Iâll be bringing the wife and sons.
