Small restaurant with seating for about 65 people. It's off the beaten path. I did noticed that they are closed on Mondays. You can order from the menu or the buffet. We went to celebrate a family member enjoying his birthday. He had a taste for catfish. The portions were very good. The Sea Man's seafood platter was $23 with 1 cluster of crab legs, scallops, shrimps, oysters, cole slaw, french fries, and flounder. The lunch buffet was $8 with seafood and down home country cooking. We enjoyed it.

The Horry Restaurant is a bit of a throwback in terms of décor, and definitely a southern style eatery. My wife loved their fried catfish. They offer a fairly wide ranging menu...but the emphasis is on seafood. If you like fried seafood...Horry Restaurant does it right...but they'll also broil, bake or sautéed most selections.

We entered, were seated. We ordered two steaks and I ordered a baked potato and asparagus, because almost everything has meat in it. My potato arrived, Forgot potato. Did I get a sorry? No...not sorry. The asparagus arrived at the end of my companions dinners. Too bad. They have good bread here. That's all I can give a good review on.

Want to watch a game, drink and have a meal? Boardwalk Billy's is the place for you! There are several TV's inside and outside for your viewing pleasure. They get all the games! We have watched games there for the past 3 years when we couldn't find any other place showing our game...the choice of beers is vast and to food is good!

Always our first stop for dinner when we arrive in town. Offering mouth watering steaks and delicious crab cakes. The steaks are incredibly juicy and seasoned just right while the crab cakes are so light and packed with more crabmeat than filler. The asparagus is always perfectly steamed and green. The loaded baked potatoes are delicious! And the bread is heavenly - light and fluffy on the inside while crusty chewy on the outside. More expensive than some restaurants perhaps,, but well worth the money - we are simply in awe of the chefs. Well done yet again Martini!

Been driving past this past for about a year and had always seen it was busy. My roommate said it was pretty good place for locals and had good food. Mediocre food was more like it. Staff wasn't the friendlist either.

Eric was a perfect server. We even had a chance to speak with some of the other staff. We had made early reservations for dinner for my Birthday so it was too crowded in the beginning. The outside looks very unexciting, but it is very nice on the inside. We loved our special table in the corner. Really enjoyable food and service. We will return when we go back to Myrtle Beach. Pricey dinner, but it was a special occasion. The skillet cookie rocked!

It's not fancy or gourmet but I cannot say enough great stuff about this place. It's a local Pub for the Longs/Conway area and Nancy, the bartender, not only remembers your name but what you drink, what you discussed the last time you were in and even your family's names! The menu is diverse and the items we've tried were all excellent - filet mignon tips (accurately cooked to order), Franklin's fried shrimp and blackened shrimp, and the flounder. i asked for sweet potato fries CRISPY and guess what? They were! (trust me this is a rarity). They make a good cocktail and have a good assortment of bottled beers including imports and domestics. There is entertainment a few nights every week and the crowd is friendly. Although kids are welcome in the bar area at tables, the Mermaid Room next door is a more family friendly area and they use the same menu which includes a kids section. There is a lunch buffet as well in the Mermaid Room.

So if you are looking for 170 items on an overpriced buffet then keep on going down to myrtle beach. we just finished playing at longbay and were looking for a place to eat. we passed this place because we missed and am so glad we turned around. chicken bog is on the menu, good crab cakes, calabash shrimp, good onion rings, rice and gravy and some of the best fried chicken i have ever tasted. dad said the fish was good but the banana pudding was lacking. only thing really missing was hush puppies. this place was so good i took the wife back on thursday on our way back to DC. and the price 9.99 tuesday-thursdays. service was good both times and they provide a to go cup.

Good wait staff and menu. A long drive to get there from Myrtle. Extensive wine list. The bad news is an undercooked 10oz filet. Management made it good, but for a place specializing in prime beef, the evening was spoiledWe apologize for the error in your steak temperature. Although we work toward perfection for every client, we sometimes get it wrong. I hope we will have the opportunity to give you the dining experience that yourself and We, expect from ourselves in the near future.
