Our son treated us to dinner at one of our favorite restaurants. It was his first visit but wonât be his last. We had sirloin steak (son), ahi tuna (me) and grouper (wife) and all were excellent. Calimari appetizer was also good. Excellent server (Lisa) was attentive but not obtrusive. Very nice evening.

We chose to eat here because the parking lot was consistently full. The name accurately describes the decor - basic and somewhat crowded. We selected the daily special of one meat plus three sides and a basket of hush puppies For $9.95. Hush puppies were small and sweet. We both ordered fried chicken (one the white meat (one piece) and the other dark (thigh and drumstick)). Chose sides of cabbage, field peas, and tomato pie (having no idea what field peas or tomato pie were). Field peas were small and brown and tasted like black eyed peas, very good. Tomato pie was not a pie but a thick tomato, breading, and cheese dish, also tasty. Side salad was fresh and a nice size. Fried chicken was on the dry side but had a nice flavor. Overall, would definitely return.

We went for lunch and had the grouper special (blackened) for $10. Very well done and priced right! Lunch drink specials were a big hit as well. Nice that they would blacken the fish as we try to stay away from deep fried. Mike did a great job waiting on us. It is more of a bar place than restaurant, so a little like everyone must of had a good time last night. Could use a little clean up. Going back again!!

What a wonderful evening. Drove from wilmington to meet Cousins for dinner. Atmosphere was very friendly. All four of us order different types of food. Prime Rib, Steak,Salmon and Chicken. Everyoneâs dinner was cooked to perfection! The house salad is just amazing. Most importantly our server Andrew F. was spectacular! Prompt, professional and friendly service! What a great night!

For $19.95 I received 4 grilled scallops and a 4 oz grilled black bass, french fries, cole slaw, 3 hush puppies. Fresh tasty seafood but they can surely increase the seafood on the plate. Without the french fries, cole slaw, and hush puppies it was more like eating an appetizer. Food was great but price should have been $11.95 and the service was excellent.

Not only that if you was beautiful the food was delicious. I really make it hard on anyone who does not walk well or able to climb steps. Thatâs the only way In, up two flights of steps! Early bird specials until 430 and they were great. It wouldâve been perfect if there had been an easier way to get inside the restaurant.

Family vacation 12 of us , everyone wanted fish , so someone suggested this restaurant . Glad we did . When you walk in place was very clean ,windows all over the place to view the intercoastal . Waitress was very good . Appetizer was excellent.(Fish Bites ) . we all had different fish , from the catch of the day(Snapper) to Flounder ) , No complaints and we will return â¦â¦.

We entered, were seated. We ordered two steaks and I ordered a baked potato and asparagus, because almost everything has meat in it. My potato arrived, Forgot potato. Did I get a sorry? No...not sorry. The asparagus arrived at the end of my companions dinners. Too bad. They have good bread here. That's all I can give a good review on.

Visited here last Saturday evening. When we got there and put our names on the list, we were told there were 6 parties in front of us but they could not give us an estimated wait time. The hostess was not rude but not very friendly or pleasant either. It ended up taking about 40 minutes. We were finally seated at a table outside on the deck near the water. Took a while for server to come by and took her a while throughout the evening to check on us also. We ordered the crab legs and they were pretty good for the reasonable price but a little too much Old Bay seasoning (I like Old Bay but the amount was overkill). The rest of the food was good. But the service left something to be desired. She rarely checked on us, was slow to take orders and bring stuff when needed, and it always seemed like we were bothering her. I know they were busy but even a smile would've helped her disposition. If servers have too many tables, hire more help!Thank you for bringing this to our attention, kristinealikat. Weâre sorry you had a bad experience. Weâll strive to do better. Do come again.
