I had heard about this restaurant and continued my search on a dark Tahusan Beach Road. I could not see any sign indicating that I was approaching one of the best restaurants in Southern Leyte. When I found the restaurant a was suprised about the perfect ambiance and the quality of the food. This is realy a hidden treasure.

We went here last July to conduct an event with estimated pax of 200. It is accessible since it's along the airport road. What made it more beautiful is the location beside the beach. The sand is not that white as Boracay's, but it was fine and the view is so scenic. The event hall is air-conditioned, they served sumptuous food for all the 200+ attendees of our event. The rest rooms are clean and tissue papers are well supplied.
Delia, the 'better half' of the owning Warren couple, really knows how to cook. The meal that we enjoyed here was delicious and properly cooked. The prawns were juicy and therefore mouth watering, while the accompaying vegetables were crisp and filling.Service was just right: not too intrusive but never too far away.A five star experience at a three star price for a Westerner.
This restaurant is really perfect for people who love seafoods. They always serve fresh squids, scallops, prawns and fish. Having variety of recipes that will satisfy your seafood cravings plus the staffs are very warm and welcoming, serving your orders with smiles. The venue is very cozy specially at night which really fits for romantic dates, family dinner or just simply catching up with friends over good food and feeling the tropical island breeze. The price is really just right for seafood. A must visit restaurant if you happened to visit Leyte specifically Matalom. Two Thumbs Up!!!
when in tacloban, try grabbing a bite in this resto. they cook very good seafood dishes. reasonably priced, their meals are actually worth more than you paid for. it is housed inside hotel estrella where we also held an event during the time of our visit.the staff are all pleasant and they work as warm as the dishes they serve.

Party of 13 for lunch. Bbq sticks had 4 on menu pic. However, the order comes with 2 sticks only. A bit misleading. Each order seems it was for only one person. Not ideal for family style. Spent almost p4000 for lunch. Disappointed with small portions.

Had a typical Filipino lunch here with friends: chicken, pork, vegetables and seafood like green caviar seaweed salad and agar salad in vinegar. We dined in an air-conditioned function room, good ambiance, good service and reasonable price. I would recommend this place for visitors looking for a decent Filipino or Visayan meal.

We were in Ormoc for the first time, for a needed visit to Ford Ormoc. The Good:Excellent selection of fresh seafood to choose from, with a few meats, and vegetables to match. Seafront location. Choice of open air or aircon dining. Fast and friendly table service. Reasonable prices. The Bad:Not much really. Tinniest scallops ever! The Ugly:No wines available.Tip:A busy place that coses at 10pm, so go early.-- end -

The venue looks good from the outside, with plentiful parking, and indeed is warehouse like... though purpose built.Tables are robust and designed for groups of 6 or more, with benches. Food is delivered on noisy carts and tge whoke pkacd erhots when the blender is run for shakes. So, leave the romance at the door and bring your party hat. That said, the place was largely empty on this Tuesday evening, so relatively quiet. There was a fair selection of shellfish and fish. Vegetables were limited and of poor quality (not likely what the creators envisaged).Service was friendly and efficient (the place was not busy, remember?). Bill Out was quick, problem free, with no service charge. Pricey at PHP1500 for 2-pax, with one beer each.Tip: carefully instruct about courses if you wish your food to be served hotOur choices and comments...One Dozen Baked Leyte Scallops with cheese, garlic, lemon and butter- tender, delicious- not hot enough when servedGrilled Prawns with shell on- fresh, perfectly cookedStir Fried mixed vegetables with Oyster Sauce- not overcooked, delicious sauceSteamed Lapu-Lapu fish with head & tail on- beautifully cooked, fresh and tender- used the vegetable sauce for extra flavourSteamed rice- good-- end --
