We ate here twice. Our favourite in Lagos.Doesn't look much from outside, and not a lot of tables in street, but, wonderfulThey do a 3 course daily menu for 22 euro which is great value, and decent house wine. The second time I had the fish soup, and wild boar, which was excellentthe table next to us had the cataplanya, which looked superb, and made me jealous, the two of them struggled to finish it, streets ahead of one we had earlier in the week.

O Galeão restaurant is the perfect place in Lagos where you can find modern and traditional dishes, prepared with Mediterranean cuisine ingredients. Our specialties are both fish-based dishes, strictly fresh, and dishes with meat, vegetables or cheese. He
We only had two mains here but both were very good.Service was excellent although you could only pay with cash (ATM is 2 minute walk). For two people, single course plus few drinks was â¬45 so fairly reasonable. Only suggestion would be that the spit fish could've done with more variety i.e. it only had two types on it, albeit they were very nice! Dear Mggreeney,Thank you very much for taking the time to review, it means a lot. We're really glad you found the food authentic and the price well. We are continually ensuring to offer the quality to our customers.Thank you also for suggestion.Hopefully we'll see you again soon.Sincerely.

Probably our favourite dining experience anywhere. This unique Restaurant only opens Monday to Saturday from 12 to 4PM, or when supplies run out. Order your fish or meat as you enter from the fish display cabinet and be prepared to wait fir maybe half an hour. Always busy, busy, busy. Great value always and superior food. Fish highly recommended. Located on the 125 about a 5 minute drive from Lagos, at where at first looks like a garden centre. Make sure to visit the gardens/farm/village.

Luca's Restaurant, located on the rooftop of Carvi Beach Hotel on Dona Ana Beach, blends breathtaking ocean views with a laid-back contemporary vibe. It serves classic Portuguese Cuisine and has live music several times per week, Luca's is the perfect spo
our dinner consisted of bottle house white wine, sardine pate as appetizer and we shared Cataplana which was 38⬠for two but was enough for 3. Everything was delicious and the service was exemplary. our server was Vitor and he cared about whether our experience was great. The pate does not come with any crackers and after I mentioned that I thought it should he checked and brought us crackers Ike a mElba toast. We are staying at the hotel and it is so nice after a day of sightseeing to be Abe to take a rest and the walk down the hall for dinner. Highly recommended . We also enjoyed the guitarist and a group got up todanetohisusic. Lots of good vibes.

As an avid fisherman and historian I was drawn to this place, "Arribale" being a chant the not forgotten Portuguese would use when fetching their nets from the then vast and empty algarvian beaches. It seems the name is not forgotten in this restaurant as the burly chef brought to my table the best seabass I have ever had the pleasure to enjoy. Sided with amazing potatoes and salad I was a happy chappy. My friends shared the meat platter which looked like something you'd see on TV and they said it was indeed the best meal they'd had in Europe. The owner Grimace was attentive and led his team like a true legend, we will return!

Tradional portguese food, seafood, grilled meat and fish, cataplanas...In Calhou restaurant you can enjoy a tasty and delicious meal! Bring your family and friends. We're waiting for you!
Found this through trip advisor. It's set away from town in a neighborhood. Still not a bad walk. Cute comfortable decor. Food was fabulous. We had the pork and clam cataplana which we shared. Could have probably fed three people. We ate until we couldn't eat anymore and hated that we couldn't finish it because it was so very good. Service was great. Highly recommended!

We dined last night. Lovely restaurant. The staff were friendly and helpful. The food was very tasty and beautifully presented and the restaurant ambience was very relaxing I had shrimps with tempura green beans drizzled with homemade aioli. They were enormous and so tasty. My husband had scallops with risotto which he really enjoyed. Mains were lamb shank with creamy mash and caramelised red onion and sea bass fillets with sautéed new potatoes, green beans, carrots courgettes and some sort of foam. No idea what kind of foam but it looked pretty and tasted lovely :-) Then we split a dessert between us of homemade coconut oannecota and pineapple ice cream. The ice cream was incredible. All accompanied by the House red which was the best weâve ever tasted. We would highly recommend and you need to book.Thank you for a beautiful dinner! Sam & Gary

Please note: We only can take calls between 3:30 p.m. and 6 p.m. We are an elegant, cozy, and intimate restaurant in the heart of Lagos. We serve Portuguese cuisine with a twist and always use fresh local ingredients. We provide a warm and attentive servi
Food, service, ambiance excellent. Tiny restaurant (around 24 covers in total), with a third of the seating outside. The food is wonderful, though quite expensive. Very much worth a visit. One problem. We tried to book on their website and tables are not offered after 6:30 (always says fully booked). So we called in person to ask for a table the following day - only 6:30 available on many days. So we reluctantly took 6:30 and as any tables emptied after 8:00 they would not take any passing trade, just leaving the tables empty. Strange. Maybe they like to get to bed early! Dear Steve,It is such a pleasure to read these wonderful words about your dinner at our restaurant!Thank you so much for sharing your experience here on TripAdvisor and recommending us.We are really happy to know that you enjoyed your evening with us.Once again, a big thank you and kindest regards from all of us at Real

Ordered the dorado fish, chicken salad & chicken curry. All meals were delicious. Large portions and quality food. It was quiet and non touristy. The language barrier was a bit of an issue since they did not speak fluent English.
