It was a family reunion that filled two long tables by large windows with a water view. While waiting for our very satisfying meals, the children danced to music out on the dock, and the rest of us were entertained while drinking our favorite beverages. Our server, RICHARD, was exceptional and that is a word that I reserve for the best kind of service, no matter the venue. He worked with an ever-present smile and didn't miss a beat.
An evening-only venue. New owners are making a major effort to upgrade the facilities, and it really shows. New furnishings throughout, very clean.Staff was friendly and helpful. When I was there, it was serve-yourself, but that may change. I'm glad I dropped by to see the new OC.

We stopped at Boyd's on the way out to the dike to fish and got some really nice live shrimp that were popping so hard I thought they would get out of my bait bucket. On the way out we stopped back and got some really fresh Jumbo shrimp to take home for dinner. The prices were really good. We checked out their cooked food to go and it was all so good and fresh and well priced.
Long story as to how I found this place, but so glad I found it. This place is a wholesale/retail store that sells fresh seafood but they also have a limited menu of fried/cooked food for take out. The food is tasty, well cooked and half the cost at a sit down restaurant. If anywhere near Texas City you need to stop by! It is a hidden gem!

Ate here because it was close to the hotel. The fried catfish and shrimp combo is pretty good. Lot more food than I could eat. My wife ordered you blackened talapia and blackened shrimp. She loved it. Excellent coleslaw and hushpuppies. Service and atmosphere was good. I would eat here aagain on my next trip.

You might not think of having lunch or dinner at a bait camp, but Louis is a locals favorite! The waitresses are nice and friendly and Henry is quite a cook! Friendly atmosphere inside and out on the deck. We love the Shrimp Alfredo and the hamburger steak. The burgers are huge and the beer is always cold!

Good food and large portions. Loved it cause that's what keeps customers coming back.. also they do to go orders.
The serving size of everything is amazing. Hush puppies, boudain balls, onion rings, cheese burgers, chicken fried steaks ok the list goes on and on. Quality of service goes hand and hand with friendly smiling service. Good variety on the menu and daily specials make this a go to place. So get on down here and enjoy your meal!!!
