They list themselves as pizzeria but we would say although they do pizzas they are much more upmarket than that - more Mediterranean

Recently visited this restuarant which advertises itself as a Pizzeria, we do not agree. It is far superior to this description. First visit we decided to have sea bass (which Pedro brought to the table to show us prior to cooking) fresh from the boat that morning. What a delight that was. On our second visit of the week, they had no sea bass so we opted for meat - lamb chops - I have never seen such delicate little chops, which were served on a sizzling platter. They were absolutely fabulous! This is not the cheapest place to eat (unless you go for the pizza option) but the quality was superb. Highly recommended. Well don Pedro - we will be back on our next visit.

Just a few steps from the sand, this wonderful Spanish restaurant offers a lovely range of fresh food. Their baby whitebait is the best I've ever had and the house salad comes with asparagus and artichokes and a lovely sweet dressing. Portions are large and it's fabulously good value. Get there early if you want a table at the front. This restaurant is all that's good about Spain, great food at an amazingly low price, friendly, welcoming service and a wonderful blue view of sea and sand.

The food is reliable - ask for their fresh fish, paellas and frituras. Plenty to choose from - always welcoming with the same staff for many years. Pleasant view of the harbour. A hidden gem.

We normally visit this delightful restaurant at least once each time we stay with our best friends who live a short drive away. Consistently good food and excellent service on all visits. Also one of the few places where you can order an individual paella from an extensive list, (instead of minimum 2 persons) just paying a supplement of â¬1. Bear in mind that it shuts during the winter months. And of course a lovely view of the Mar Menor!

We had Sunday lunch, around 4.00pm. Arrived early and had a drink before being shown to a perfect shady beach side table. The three of us each had a pleasant starter (beef carpaccio, gazpacho and prawns) before enjoying the chicken and seafood paella. Perfect food and setting. This is not the cheapest restaurant but we donât come for cheap food - we return again and again for the food and the location, not to mention the friendly and attentive staff.

Nice setting just off the sandy beach, watching the waves. Menu choice mostly fish/seafood. Starters (Sardines and garlic prawns very good, but also ordered a portion of chips which didn't come) Expected service to be laid back (surfers bar) but it was very slow and inattentive. Main meal (Grilled Seafood & 2 portions of chicken) Served at different times. Two mains (Chicken) finished before Seafood for other two diners arrived. Again chips order (a second time) didn't come. One of the chicken peices was raw in the middle - chef later told us thats how he liked it, but if we wanted it cooked more we should have said! They weren't busy when we ate, so can't see why service so poor. Asked for more drinks (Twice) before served. Worst meal of the weeks holiday, will not visit again.

Called in for lunchtime menu. Three first class starters consisting of ultrafresh salad, artichoke hearts with raisins, and fried squid. nothing rushed and washed down with a cold beer. Main course I had Pork Paella which had the most exquisite flavour. My wife had sea bass which she thoroughly enjoyed. Ice cream for sweet, my wife had fresh pineapple.
