In the year 1988, we first opened doors as Jaws Seafood Restaurant located on the 4th Floor of Gaya Centre. We served a fusion of Thai/Chinese Seafood Cuisine as well as Dim Sum. The restaurant also hosted banquet events up to 45 tables on a regular basis

We heard about Kk food is very good, but after 2 days of tourist see sighting food we want to try something that city is famous of, and a local person recommended this. Surely is not crowded of tourists, not fancy but very kind people and good choices. Food very good, service better than a 5 star hotel. Satisfied with the experience

Itâs in amongst about a dozen restaurants on the waterfront and all basically accessible by walking through tables through each of the restaurants. Not a brilliant experience. Also, youâre crammed up against other restaurants, so the âambienceâ is a tad mixed and to be fair, the smell of the sea isnât the best either.Service was good but not excellent.Menu was ok, not brilliantly varied and your typical mix of pasta, pizza and other Italian come Spanish fare. The food quality was quite good and the drinks werenât too bad either.Decent value as well, but a better menu choice, better lighting and better access would be needed to get to a 4 rating.Iâm sure that there are better places on the front.

Just the two of us for dinner, we did not have the Lobster dish. For dinner, we had an oyster omelette , dry butter prawn, chinese steamed loong fu pan (hybrib grouper) in soya sauce and a stir fry sabah vegetable with egg accompanied by steam rice. Food flavour is good except for the dry butter prawn is quite depressing tough, rubbery and the sabah vegetable is old & chewy. Nice dinner but nothing extraordinary !!! But maybe we might try the Lobster next time we are back in town!!!

White clam is a must eat, big size and so fresh. The seafood fish sauce fried bee hoon is yummy. I loved the local vegetable fried with eggs.A highly recommended restaurant at a reasonable price, away from the usual touristy seafood restaurants. From Shangri-La it's just a 6-8RM ride.

Recommended by my bro Teddy and sist Shalvhey to this eatery which is an hour journey from downtown KK. This is Halal restaurant serves mainly fresh seafood like live crustaceans, live fish, vegetables, beancurd . Tables are huge for 3paxs but I noticed all the tables are 10 seaters thus nothing much to fuss about it. Foods are really delicious and in terms of pricing I find it OK except for the fish is quite pricey. No harm to try you are seafood lover.

This place was recommended by Wilson, the Grab driver I was with for the day.Located at the Hilltop area, Fatt Kee serves only seafood and vegetable dishes. The place is full all day every day, and is frequented by the masses and celebrities alike. Expect to shell out between 8 - 25 MYR depending on what you order. Servings are generous, so order cautiously. Specialty is their version of tom yum - with or without tomato, spice levels adjusted via sambal/ chili paste. The star of the day for me was the fried bean curd skin. I closed my eyes in delight as its crispy texture and savory flavor will leave you swearing off meat forever!Definitely a place I would return to.

By far the biggest outlet for seafood in Kota Kinabalu however heavily catering tourists only. It is not the best seafood, nor the biggest selection or pricing. It mass caters to chinese or korean market who value quantoty over quality. Walk a few steps further in the complex to find a multitude of smaller shops with better offering. Also recommend the seafood-malay style next to the waterfront
