We dropped in here for lunch after a stroll down to the beach and very happy that we did.We had a bit of a hiccup with the ordering and got two pad thais instead of pad thai and chicken fried rice but there were no complaints about the quality of the food. Our interaction with the owner and his staff over the mistake was hilarious.Great little place for lunch.

10 years of Hill Tribe Restaurant! Hill Tribe Restaurant was opened on 10 October 2008 . Its chef and owner comes from the area of Chiang Rai in northern Thailand and therefore Hill Tribe Restaurant does not only offer excellent and genuine Thai food but
Friends recommended this because looking at it we might not have gone in. The food was delicious from a huge menu and we even received complimentary banana fritters. Service was very friendly.Hello from Hill Tribe! It was our pleasure to welcome you in our restaurant and thank you for writing this nice review. We are happy to hear that you enjoyed your food and our little extra, friendly and efficient service goes without saying :). Enjoy your stay in Khao Lak and we look forward to seeing you again soon. We have eaten at Ben's on more than 10 occasions, firstly back in December 2018 and now in June 2019 on our Wedding Anniversary holiday. We haven't tried the pizzas that they are renowned for here, however the Thai food is absolutely delicious. We have tried so many items on the menu, and have never ordered one that we weren't delighted with. The service is very good, cold hand towels on arrival & they are very hospitable. The cocktails are great value, and thankfully not as weak as most places make them. We have been to Thailand seven times in total and this was our 2nd trip to Khao Lak. Bens is definitely one of our top 2 favourites that we will keep going back to in Khao Lak for sure!

Thai Food,International Food, Imported Steak, Pizza, Pasta ,Seafood
Ordered a medium surf and turf because the offered Australian beef - it was disgusting. Instead of medium it was served as a sneaker sole in a instant sauce. Even the prawn was too long on the grill an dry, served in tomato sauce. I have the steak back and after asking for a reduction the reduced the price of the Menge by 10% - worst service Iâve ever seen in Thailand!

Warm welcome and service. You will leave with smile.
We walked past this place one night and it was full, so we thought we should come and try the food.Sadly we spotted it in our last days in Khao Lak.The food was amazing, from the spring rolls, peppered pork(my favourite, ordered another serve after eating the first), prawns, curries, stir fries and the Tiramisou was excellent and the mango sticky rice was amazing. Freshest mango we'd had for ages. The wait staff were so friendly and accommodating, would go back in a heart beat.

Located on the south-eastern tip of the island, Koyao Bay Pavilions' restaurant is open to only a happy few guests from outside the resort, so make sure you book a table in advance. Serving authentic Thai cuisine and the freshest seafood, all prepared by
We went back there three times for dinner this last recent trip because every other restaurant on the island, except the Living Room at the Six Senses, was disappointing, the final meal was quite superb, I started with a spicy prawn salad - the prawns are always wild ones, not farmed, another big plus for La Sala - followed by the best Panang Red Curry with squid ever, great spicy thick sauce and very small rings of tender calamari, whilst my wife had the Prawn version and loved it. James is a consummate and friendly host, making every visit a pleasure, we look forward to next time.
