The most beautiful view of Ko Kut. Perfect for romantic diner with an authentic thai fold.
The view out to sea from this little cafe/restaurant perched on a cliff is certainly good but what kept me coming back every single day on Koh Kood was the excellent fruit smoothies. Generously sized, spilling over a tall glass, so thick you needed a spoon more often than a straw and well priced (B80) and the ladies behind the bar were more than happy to mix fruits when asked - try mango and passion fruit combo.Good view also has some of the best coffee on Koh Kood with a proper machine that turns out decent espressos, lattes etc. Finally there is a little path with steps that goes directly up/down to the beach, making this the perfect location for a stopover before, during or after your time in the sand.

You don't really know what to expect when you enter this place. The personnel (a family, it seems this is their living room as well) is hanging around a bit and don't seem to be overly happy with your arrival. But that might also be a lack of language skills, because the lady of the house is very sweet and likes to take care of you. You absolutely have to try the Khao soy, it's one of the best I have ever had and I visited Chang Mai a couple of times. You get a huge portion and the taste is so good, I came back the next day for more. They make everything fresh and with the Khao Soy that's clearly visible on the hands of the lady, they dry the turmeric outside in the sun.
Great food for Thai and Western menu. More expensive compare to the normal restaurants on Koh Kood but of course you pay more for the better!

Small but cozy family restaurant with the most delicious and cheapest food on the Koh Kood island.
This street corner restaurant was described as a slum by one of its regulars. True, it doesn't look like much. Why should it? The place is packed with people who come back again and again for truly brilliant Thai food. Madame Chef cooks everything herself. You can order off menu. Try the chicken and cashews. Try the Thai omelette. Try the stuffed omelette. Try the greens and dried pork. Just mind your step in case you end up in the water.
Shantaa Restaurant located on a high ground inside the Shantaa Resort. We have the best view of the bay. The sunset view here is very beautiful. Here, all items are carefully selected and prepared freshly from fresh ingredients by our local chefs to ensur
Most delicious, beautifully presented, delicate Thai dishes. Worthy of MasterChef accolade! We had tempura veg ( light, fluffy batter, wide range of veg), followed by sea bass salad and garlic black pepper squid - super-yum. Only gripe, portions too generous! Lovely ambiance, attentive staff. Think I've died and gone to heaven!!

Chonthicha Restaurant is on a pier on Ao Yai Bay, in the south east of Ko Kut.It offers, without any doubt, the best seafood on the island. Not only the best, but the freshest and the most reasonably priced.Four of us sat enjoying the sea breeze and Leo beers while we waited for our steamed prawns with salt, fish tempura, fresh oysters, yam talay (a spicy salad with seafood), and prawns in tamarind sauce, and steamed rice, of course. With several bottles of Leo beer, the bill came to a modest Baht 1,600.

Ate here once. Food and live music was great but slow drink service. A very busy restaurant and the most touristy place on whole island. Food no better than the hotel we walked 4km from and staff were more interested in European patrons!

In the fishing village in Bao Ao Yi Fishing Village at the first entrance (not at the end by the big pier) Walk down the concrete path about 200 meters. Noochy Seafood is the last restaurant on the left hand side.
We tried several dishes: scallops, prawns and lobster. Everything was delicious and served in nice portions. Service was a little slow although the restaurant was half empty. I assume this part could be improved but the experience was great overall.

Come to enjoy french bistro specialities, and chill out around a glass of wine at Bistro Koh Kood. The only place for French delicatessen, cheese and others surprises on the island. Our prices are $$ to $$$, not as show on the categories here. Sorry for d
Passed this place while running one evening. It was a little bit out of the way but me and my girlfriend decided to check it out as we grew tired of the local cuisine. It is a small bistro run by a french expat who himself stands in the kitchen. The food is great and simplistic - I had the beef burger twice and enjoyed it a lot. My third night (yes, we came back many times) I opted for the beef steak and it was alright but nothing special. I also tried the cheese platter (small but nice) made up by french cheese imported by the owner. What really makes this place stand out is the extremely friendly service. A thai woman who´s name slipped my mind was both cheery and attentive. And the owner sat down next to us when things slowed down and spoke to us like we were close friends. Can´t wait to come back. Merci!

If you visit in Koh Kood, you should visit here. Food is 5/5. My opinion is that this place should double their prices :) Remember to make a reservation because they have only few tables.
