We are a cozy Italian restaurant on Southlake's westside serving friends local and from afar. We use authentic Italian recipes and local vendors whenever possible for our entrees and Neopolitan Italian style pizza from our wood fired oven, and homemade de
After driving by this restaurant for the past few months, my husband and I decided to try it out for lunch since we've become bored with the other restaurants in Southlake. I'm so happy we did! We intentionally over-ordered so we could taste a selection of items, with the intent of bringing leftovers home for dinner. On our menu - Italian wedding soup: which was delicious with a deep, rich broth, homemade sausage and a generous portion of parmesan; green salad: simply, fresh, perfectly dressed; sausage pizza: nice chewy crust cooked in the wood burning oven but I'm afraid the toppings may have been too heavy for the crust to support; homemade tortellini in a cream sauce: delicious but extremely rich, better for sharing; broccolini: garlicky, al dente, perfect! I've read some of the other reviews about the restaurant being loud which we didn't experience (maybe because it was lunch) and the limiting menu, which I simply think is false. In fact, I was amazed at the variety of dishes on the menu that go way beyond typical pizzas and pastas of most Italian restaurants in the area. They have plenty of fish dishes, meats, salads, etc. from which to choose. One thing to note - this is a BYOB restaurant but if you forget your stash, you can pick something up at the QT down the road. A wonderful neighborhood restaurant with delicious food and lovely service. A++We are so pleased you came in to give us a chance to serve you!!! Thank you for the wonderful review and hope to see you again soon!

In a land filled with Mexican/Tex-Mex dining options it's no surprise that many good ones get passed over. Puerta Vieja is worth a visit. How many local spots go beyond the obvious aforementioned choices and offer Salvadorian and Peruvian cuisine? At this restaurant it's about the food....and oh....the beer is cold.

We were looking for a special occasion place for our 31st wedding anniversary. We have been to truluckâs in other cities and been very pleased. The service was such a letdown; I think he said his name was John; for the first time since I moved to Texas over two years ago I had to ask someone to slow their speech, I found him difficult to understand at times; and I feel he had a hard time understanding us. (This is no language barrier) He said what can I get you to start; we ordered the seafood celebration. Twice he said âdo you want the coronation â I donât know if he was trying to upsell us or just wasnât listening. When the appetizer came it was spectacular, between courses I had to ask the waiter to remove some of the accoutrements that comes with the appetizer we ordered. Even after I asked he only cleared half of it, When the manager came by after our entrée I asked him to take the other half; which of course he happily did. After he bused our table he asked the waiter why even after dinner there was appetizer dishes on our table- according to the manager Luke, John told him I asked him to keep it :( This tells me he has no desire to improve Who wants to look at dirty dishes all through dinner? I donât expect perfect service; however at these prices I donât expect to chase the waiter down either. I have felt less neglected at Cracker Barrel. Overall it was not a bad experience the food was good the atmosphere is lovely, but good service can truly make or break a meal for me.

This is a great laid back restaurant in historic downtown Roanoke, TX, Excellent seafood and drinks. I like to return to Roanoke every time I attend events at Texas Motor Speedway and Bayou Jacks Cajun Grill is my favorite restaurant. So nice to visit Roanoke where the restored old downtown area is filled with fine restaurants. You will love this city and Bayou Jacks Cajun Grill.
