Uowaka Aioi Suisambutsu Market

If you for whatever reason happen to be in Aioi don't miss this place. This is relatively small seafood market with a restaurant. I had sashimi set which included also miso soup with clams. All fresh and delicious. Alternatively (as most of the visitors did) you can have a barbeque with a seafood bought here.

During the trip in Kansai, we visited a small town, Ako. After visiting Himeji, occasionally we took West JR train bound for the west of Himeji and got off the train at Banshu-Ako Station. It was the first time for us to be there, and the reason is we would like to explore something new and fresh. Fortunately, we found one seafood restaurant just near the Banshu-Ako station. It's name is Toyomaru Suisan. As usual, we ordered lots of dishes of seafood, however, I was impressed by their big and fresh oyster. Very very very sweet taste after I put that oyster into my mouth.We also had other dishes, shrimp, scallop, crab rice, salmon sashimi, ...etc. Great and yummy food made my family decide to come here again, if we have another plan to visit Kansai next time. By the way, because this restaurant is in Ako, it won't charge you a lot. Don't worry!

この冬シーズン2回目の訪問となりました。牡蠣シーズンの人気店には変わりなく午前11時開店の40分前に到着したところ、既に入店待ちの行列が"しおさい市場"建物の外へ駐車場まで伸びていました。焼き牡蠣コーナーへは、約2時間待ちとなり、2巡目でやっと案内されました。焼き牡蠣ばかりだと飽きるので、蒸し牡蠣やその他の料理を選択してオーダーしました。猶、焼き牡蠣を選択しなければ座敷もあり、こちらは回転が早くなっていました。

セットメニューなどもあり、紙に書いてオーダーしました。平日の利用のため混んでおらず、お酒を飲みながら食事をゆっくり楽しむ事ができました。
