Tucked away in a small, slightly worn down fishers village below Kastro in a small bay with a small pebble beach. Fish and seafood only, straight from their own fishing boat. You are asked to come down to their kitchen to pick your fish. No frills simple freshness. We had the red mullet, aubergine stuffed with squid and octopus, big fried shrimps, and the tuna souvlaki. The last the best grilled tuna I ever ate. Great for a lunch trip.

We came here because reviews were wow. Not. Interesting menu but very bland execution. Chickpeas salad was one of the more boring I ever had, moreso in sifnos. Octopus was itself great but the cauliflower lime garlic sauce was absolutely tasteless. Cocktail was awesome. Place is nice. Shame food was just really badly executed Greetings from Sifnos, Greece!We promise to take into consideration your comments regarding our chickpeas salad and cauliflower sauce in order to ace our recipes but to be honest, we have been many times complimented in the past for these exact dishes. As you may imagine, not all dishes/recipes fit all tastes.We will be glad to have you as our guest in the future so we may try to impress you.

A real model of services in food production. We could come every day to eat here if it wasn't far from our pension in Sifnos. Only one day trip to Vathi beach but very fulfilling with nice sea view, beach and this beautiful restaurant on the sea. The food is real greek home made and tasty, whatever you want from seafood to meat, salads and vegetables; the service very good, the prices very affordable . Thank you!

Second year and is even better! Incredibly balanced dishes that we ate and have overcome our expectations. Carpaccio was like a work of art with its materials complementing each other. The tuna is a very successful different approach dish, the smoked bass an ointment in simplicity and a dish that you will not find anywhere else, the cod had everything that must have a dish that is perfect, the combination of taste was so elegant that every bite it was a taste experience and finally the octopus, although I am the philosophy that some traditional things are not overcome, this dish drove me away and traveled to me in time making me think of all the good octopus dishes I've eaten these years, it contained all these dishes on a bite, as we explained to the owner (Zannis) was quite complicated preparation which worth you describe. Prices on main dishes is very reasonable for this quality of food. The advantages of the restaurant are the parking space and the friendly owner who is willing to explain every dish he offers. I wish she stayed so good and had the opportunity to visit it again soon.

This restaurant had just opened a few weeks before our mid-July stay in Kamares. We had seen some previous reviews on TA and decided to give it a go first for a late beach lunch. It was around 3.30pm or a bit later I guess and the owner informed us that the kitchen was closed. However seeing that we were visibly hungry and with a 2 year old she was kind enough to offer us some items on the menu which were simpler to prepare . We do not regret trying a few tapas style seafood items such as the shrimp keftedes which were divine. Additionally we tried the seafood stew as a main. The manager was lovely and very warm with our 2 year old daughter. It was so good and different from other Kamares restaurants nearby that we decided to try it for our dinner the following night. The setting is truly unique since it is the only place in Kamares which is fine dining right on the sand. For dinner I tried the scorpion fish mastelo and hubby tried the squid ink risotto:both divine. For starters we shared the trio of taramosalata; wow what a twist these three dips were to the classic recipe. It may not be the cheapest option in Kamares of course but as I stated if you want a change from the classic Greek dishes this one is worth a try. Additionally you will have a lovely evening right on the sand were your kid keeps busy playing nearby and you can enjoy your dinner in peaceLastly, the manager gave us the in house digestive; the watermelon ouzo which was the cherry on the cake; wow simply an incredible twist to the ouzo.Thanks from us all and keep up the good work.Thank you Natalie26Malta for sharing your "divine" experience at Seafnos Fish House :-)You must have visited us when we were short of kitchen staff because our kitchen is usually open from 13:00 to 00:00 everyday. Visited Folie during our last night in Sifnos. Had a couple of drinks and just relaxed listening to the breaking waves. Didnt eat anything so I cannot comment on the food, but this is a place that I woud visit again if I am ever back in this beautiful island. This place is right on the beach in Kamares and it is open all day (and night).

We ate here 3 times while staying in Kamares; it was our favourite restaurant. The service is relaxed and friendly. Everything we ate was tasty; the house salad; the grilled calamari; meatballs; sardines. . .The Anemologio cafe-bar next door was a good place to call into for a night cap after our meal.

ok place on seafront with normal Greek tavern menu the food we had was ok nothing special but as with the tavern a few doors up just as you are eating the starter the bring out the main course service ok not that friendly

If you arrive at the correct time in the evening you will enjoy the sunset view. Very peaceful location just round the bay from the main town. I had the dorade for main course which was cooked to perfection while my OH had the lamb which again was delicious. One of the best meals in our time on Sifnos.Service was prompt as we ate early but we did notice that things slowed down after it got busier.
