We met Dean, the manager who arranged a special lunch for us and then we re-visited the next day for dinner in the tree house. The food was excellent and we had an unforgettable experience. The customer service was excellent and we would love to return and stay one day.Thank you Dean!

We tasted delicious food in Kalpitiya. We can get fresh sea food and vegetable curry with rice. Very good and relax places near the sea. It a open area with garden. Our family like that places. It's calling nice name "Roti Makara". Good restaurant.Thank you!
We have a chilled space. Nice vibes and generous portions. We also have a bar. We are famous for the Friday night BBQ. Rs. 2000 for a huge spread. For outside guest, its important that you make a reservation.
I was spending a 3 day holiday and got the chance to experience the best variety of food for each meal. The restaurant is clean and the food spread well with variety. The planning and execution of the meals should be well appreciated. The food will never run out and re-fills are on the way within few minutes giving the guest peace of mind and to enjoy the meal at leisure. In addition to the buffet spread, there was a corner area where omelette, bulls-eye, scrambled eggs were made upon guest request free of any additional charge. And on top of that there was a seafood, pork and sausage barbecue session on one night and it was amazingly tasty.Water, tea, coffee is free flow all day and night giving anyone the option to have whenever they feel like refreshing themselves.I loooooooooooove this concept since for most of us a tea or coffee is required at different times of the day.I would be visiting again soon to experience this great restaurant with ample variety for everyone.Keep up the good work Dilsiri and the team.....!!!

Not too sure whether this can be called a restaurant as they prioritise catering to in-house guests. We wanted to have dinner here but they had their hands full that day. They did however try to whip up something for us but as what the chef could manage didn't appeal to us, we opted to only have a fresh (but kinda pricey) fruit juice instead.Hi, we are really sorry we couldn't offer you the full menu. We do normally serve outside guests at our restaurant but we had an emergency in the kitchen on this occasion where one of our chefs was off sick, and considering we are fully booked we were unable to offer the complete menu.
The manager and often primary cook at the Restaurant, Praminda, previously lived in Europe and has been to many different countries. He brings his appreciation for different cultures, nature, and an artistic passion to create fusion cuisine at Tuna Tuna.
Inspired by the years he spent abroad, the chef manages to make the best out of his foreign culinary experiences by mixing them in a delicious fusion kitchen. We leave in Colombo and each time we come to Kalpitiya, the five courses dinner is a must!Definitely the best value for money restaurant we tried in Sri Lanka. Not to say that the kitchen is as good as the chef is nice.PS: for lunch, if you order in advance, the chef can get specific fish and sea food from the market and cook it for you, last time we had a huge red mullet for a really affordable price

We had a lovely dinner at the Dolphin Beach resort. It is very family friendly and children get to make their own pizza which is always fun. The food took a while to arrive, however, this is because they were not expecting us and the restaurant was already operating at max capacity. The manager AJ - a very articulate and friendly man who knows the area and Sri Lanka very well - accommodated us despite capacity. All of us ordered tuna and it was beautifully seared and served with a delicious pineapple salsa. The calamari and spring rolls starters were also excellent. The resort is lovely and the ambience was really relaxing - we enjoyed our evening a lot. AJ showed us one of the family rooms at the resort and itâs a really fun concept. We will definitely come back to Sri Lanka and stay at Dolphin Beach!
