Reviews on Seafood food in Kaatsheuvel, North Brabant Province, The Netherlands. Kaatsheuvel (Dutch pronunciation: [ˈkaːtsɦøːvəl]) is a village in the Dutch province of North Brabant, situated along highways N261 and N628. With a population of roughly 16,600, it is the largest village in and the capital of the municipality of Loon op Zand, which also consists of the villages of De Moer and Loon op Zand. As Kaatsheuvel is a municipality capital, it had a town hall located in the town centre. The town hall was torn down in 2010 as part of an ambitious plan to build a lively new town centre. Currently the new town centre is being built, working title Bruisend Dorpshart (Sparkling Village's Heart). Kaatsheuvel is (internationally) well known for the Efteling theme park and a gateway to National Park Loonse en Drunense Duinen.

Enjoyed our dinner at Isolani. The staff is partly Italian which gives it a nice touch. I was not that impressed about the antipasti but liked the main course and desert.

This new restaurant / brasserie in the center of Waalwijk was a place I wanted to visit since its opening some time ago. Today we arrived back from our holiday and to close it off we decided to have dinner here tonight. Their electronic reservation system works quite well and we booked a table which was confirmed right away. The location is central with plenty of parking. They have about 35 seats on one side of the building with lounge and lunch spaces on the other side. The decoration is luxurious but cosy and the kitchen is open but on a higher level. There are plenty of servants making you feel at home. We decided to take the 4-course menu and we had some delicious dishes. Wine is also available both in bottles and by the glass at reasonable prices for not too large quantities. My wife asked for no meat in the surprise menu but in the first instance she still got a meat dish. However this was quickly rectified and replaced by a fish dish. In all it is noticeable that they try to feel the guest at home here and the kitchen is clearly aiming for a high level. This sometimes results in some hocus pocus and that is not always necessary. The amuses were surprising, the bread good and the whole meal was a culinary delight. The bill did not have all items we consumed and therefore we gave a large tip to compensate that. My suggestion: do not overdo it in the kitchen, concentrate on the honest ingredients and structure your billing process.

This wonderful restaurant us a delight to find in a middle of a town not known for its culture. The restaurant is in one of the oldest buildings in Holland and it us atmospheric without looking tired. The staff are excellent and very knowledgable and speak perfect English. The menu is varied and food is cooked from fresh and is exquisite in its taste. They have a large array of wine to choose from and when you leave the establishment you feel you have had value for money. Excellent and will hurry back again soon!

Some people say that I am a Sushi addict! might be true but for sure sushi is my favorite food and this makes me quite picky when it comes to sushi restaurants.I have to say that Kengzo is a very good one! very good sushi by the means of "all you can eat" system. the quality is rather acceptable. The only point: The staff in the restaurant are absolutely not friendly. No smile people! However, they were also not rude.

The restaurant is among the few ones opened on a Sunday in the area of Waalwijk-Sprang-Capelle and the location seemed nice. When we arrived there, it was quite animated with locals, so we assumed it to have good food.Unfortunately, this was not the case: they had the strangest combinations of food we have ever eaten. The menu was only in Dutch so we relied upon the translations of the waiter. We wanted a healthy dinner based on salad and we received the strangest salad ever: a cow-meat salad with cow meat in blood, with a lot of mayonnaise, and no fresh vegetables (all boiled: boiled asparagus, boiled radish and some boiled violet staff that looked something between a potato and a carrot). The dinner was more than 30 EUR/person, with only orange juice and water as drinks I imagine the alcoholic drinks would have doubled the price).I would not recommend it, but the choices in the neighborhood are quite poor.

Nice and clean, good food. Very Friendly. Fresh food - took some time to arrive, and there was a small mismatch with the order (probably due to the English ordering in Holland )The price was a bit high ~90 Euro for dinner for 5

Can't complain on food, but we ordered 2 starter mixes asking specifically if we could choose what we could have in them. Waiter "misunderstood" did not warn us on the amount of food, and brought singularly every single starter we were expecting being in the mix. The table ended up filled with food for six people. We were very surprised. They refused to acknowledge the mistake, refused any kind of discount, for which we asked kindly. You can see in the picture how much the food was and there is no way 2 skinny people were going to eat all that. We brought home some stuff on doggy bags but the I'll never forget the bill and never ever come here again.

Ichi Restaurant & Lounge, a modern, trendy, Japanese Cuisine. The restaurant had a make-over to bring a whole new experience. Changed to a shared-dining concept in combination with a fancy lounge. Ichi hopes to bring you a luxurious dining experience. Sig
Booked through TripAdvisor, though the night we were there it was quiet. The sushi was excellent. The service was just as good. The restaurant lacks a little atmosphere, the rather bland decor and music doesn't help. Reminded me of an 80's disco for some reason. However that is besides the point, as I would definitely go again. Recommended.
