Just popped in for a quick beer. Very quiet on this night. Bar tender friendly & spoke a little âAnglaisâ. Good selection of beers. Very small venue. Possibly quite cosy on a cold day. Stayed for half hour. Would return to try tapas. Thx for your message . I agree with your opinion on my son's English level .Having lived in Colombus Georgia more than 20 Years ago. I really appreciate to talk in "Johnny Cash's language"better than him . Do not hesitate to come back, taste our tapas or our selection of wines or spirits (rum or whyskies) Regards Patrick

Definitely gourmand, purely elegant, "La table de Louis" proposes you a French cuisine that combines all the taste of tradition to a unique mix of flavours to tempt your palate!. Service is relaxed and friendly providing you with an enjoyable dining exper
Day 1 of our short break for our wedding anniversary. We are staying at the Hotel des Bains and this restaurant adjoins the hotel. There is another restaurant right beside La Table de Louis so it may be easy to get the other restaurant by mistake. The welcome was very friendly and they do offer English menus which does help when your French isn't fluent and you don't quite understand the way vegetables and sauces are cooked. The menu is varied if not extensive, 6 starters, mains and deserts as well as sea food menu. The restaurant is extremely clean and I personally like the eclectic decorations.Duck croquet for starters - fantastic. Guinea fowl for mains - fantastic. Cheese for desert - not fantastic but good (all the cheeses were very similar in flavour and texture and I would have preferred a little more variety. My wife had three different options and she was very happy with her choices. Portion sizes were just right - although I'm sure some would like a bit more. The vegetable selection was extensive, possibly 6 different options. You only had a small amount of each vegetable so again it was just right. Price wise, 67 euros for 3 courses, coffee and a litre bottle of water, no alcohol. Not the cheapest but I thought the quality was great so I feel the price was reasonable. On a cold and miserable Friday evening in early March the restaurant was nearly full so I would suggest booking during busier times.

We visit the area frequently and just called in by chance. The restaurant was very busy, but we were accommodated quite quickly despite not having booked. The set menus are very good value, the food and service exceptional. Interestingly the wine was also very good value, even wines we had purchased direct from the domain were very reasonable compared to some establishments. Definitely visit again.

When we arrived straight away they couldnât find our reservation. We were then taken to a small room apart from the main restaurant where there was a table for two and an (empty) table for six. Whilst my husband had a view of the port all I could see was the toilet door. Once seated we were left completely alone without even being able to order a drink for 15 minutes. At the point where we were about to leave a waitress arrived with a menu and the wine/drinks list. We asked for a small change to the set menu as my husband is on a restricted diet, the manager was called and her attitude was almost aggressive. We got up, left and had a lovely meal in a different restaurant.

The restaurant is just near the sea. You can eat sea food and fresh fishes.
At first glance, this looked promising. Recommendations from the better guides, good reviews on the French version of trip advisor. A plateau of fruits de mer on an adjoining table looked great. The wine list revealed Mailly and Lallier champagnes, the latter in both full and half bottles - both great choices. And then the chef got involved. Maybe if weâd had those fruits de mer weâd have left happy, but what they managed to do to a half lobster and a brill left us very sad. The lobster, presumably fresh from their tank, was dried out and bland. The chef had, sadly, discovered a spiralizer before adding a salad. The brill was better but the accompaniments were reminsicent of something you might be served on a rainy winterâs day in Antwerp. Where was the innovative cooking the French trip advisor spoke of?Service, as some others have noted, is amateurish. Interest in customers non-existent. Who cares why we sent so much back? No-one at this restaurant. But we did like that Lallier...

Not your typical restaurant. It is a seafood market, where they serve the daily fresh catch. Food varies from seafood platter, including mussels, oysters, shrimps and/ or crabs. You can eat in or to go. The market closes at 7:30 pm. They stop serving around 6:30 pm. Take to Go, but food is out of the fridge.

We went to Bistro'nomik to celebrate my husband's birthday. The restaurant is quite small so it is necessary to book particularly on the weekends. We were offered a tasty amuse bouche which was a fresh fish pate. The service was very friendly. Although the menu was quite small, all the dishes were delicious. I particularly enjoyed the foie gras pate and the delicious chocolate & caramel tart for desert. Others had lamb for their main course which was delicious. We will definitely return to this restaurant and it rates highly compared to others in Granville.
