A colleague at work is from Louisiana and recommended that I eat here for lunch. Had the po-boy special and it was great. You can tell many of the local people eat and drink here!

Decided to stop for fuel as this is a truck plaza with fuel and food and we could smell something cooking at the cafe .. We ordered the shrimp po-boy and the shrimp fettuccine, the po-boy had so much shrimp you have to leave the bread and the plate of fettuccine was enormous. Both meals were delicious and pricing is not over the top. Definitely gonna make this a regular stop when passing through.

I ate here one evening and was not terribly hungry so shared the crawfish platter with my partner. It included crawfish pie, gratin, fried pieces and etouffee dishes along with some steamed vegetables. The variety was great and still enough food for 2 people. It was nice to have a number of dishes that were not all fried like you often encounter on the Gulf coast.
