Praiagogi Boutique Pousada is situated in Maragogi and has a lovely garden, boarding the beach... After three years of Praiagogi, Tuyn restaurant opened its doors... Tuyn, which is Dutch for 'Garden'.Tuyn uses fresh ingredients of the Brazilian Northeast,
The place is very romantic, the staff is well trained and attentive, the menu is broad and interesting, with several beer, wine and cocktail options. For my taste the food is a little heavy (lots of oil) but still pretty decent. The pizza is a must eat at nights. I posted several pictures of the actual dishes together with my review of Praiagoi Pousada.

Arroz de polvo muito bom. Atendimento rápido e eficiente. Preço razoável. Voltaria com certeza. O visual é bem legal. Dá pra pegar uma praia logo em frente e almoçar alà mesmo.

It's a very simple restaurant where you can eat in the wooden tables in a covered area or you can choose to eat in the plastic table right on the beach. The food is really good, we went there twice and both times it was yummy. Very good "iscas de peixe" and "peixe ao molho de coco" (fish in a coconut sauce). The traditional "pirão" that comes with the fish it's one of the best in Alagoas.

You can't get any closer to the sea side than this restaurante right on the sands. The food is very good and varied. But, cooked to order and takes time. But, with the view and a few caperinhas who noticed.

Salão amplo, pratos bem temperados, frutos do mar, porção honesta. O caldinho de mexilhão estava excelente.

Eating right along the board walk of Japaratinga Beach is relaxing and delicious. Everything but the service is laid back at Mamma Pereira. My wife and I have eaten three different dishes during three different visits and we´re suprised each time by the quality of the ingredients and the flavorful recipies. One dish easily serves two people. That might be a problem since you really will want to try more than one! For those of us that don´t have the luxury to eat tropical dishes, the octipus risoto is extra special as is the fish stew {Peixada}. As for seating, we discovered that there are two picnic tables and benches on the far, beach side of the restaurant that have the best views. During lunch, you have the whole beach to view from your table as well as views of the cliffs at the south end of the sands. Really panoramic. I have to admit that we´ve been there during the week so we can´t vouch for the service on more crowded weekends. But, for those of us who stay in Maragogi, AL, the short ride to the next town is more than worth it. After lunch try a walk along their board walk to work off those kilos.

This place is magical. I stayed here with two friends, we spend such an amazing evening and the owner was so friendly. I can't recommend this place enough: it's literally right on the beach and so you step out of your room onto the decking which leads onto the sand. They've got sea canoes that you can use as well, and at low tide you can walk 1km out to sea, whereas at high tide the sea comes right up to the hotel! At night there's such a beautiful silence, all you can hear is the sea, and there's hammocks to hang outside your door so you can lie there and watch the stars..... I had such a fantastic time here i'd go back sooner if it wasn't so far away!! Definitely one for the list of things to do in life :)

This wasn't the very best meal I had while visiting Alagoas, but it was definitely in the top 5. What really set this restaurant apart for me was the owner and his beautiful family. His smile was infectious, and you could tell how much pride he took in preparing simple regional food for his guests. If you are visiting the area, be sure to put this on your list.

I do not remember ever going back to a restaurant the following day to repeat the same dish. This was a first. The crispy paella served at ninanoa is amazing and their signature dessert, cocada mole with dulce de leche ice cream is worth every single calorie.
