Cutting to the chase: the food here is fantastic! From the exquisite crab cakes, to the lite and tasty lobster ravioli, to the mouth watering flavor explosion steak, and wonderful vegetables - every bite is a treat. The ambiance is very nice too - quiet, and charming with attentive and thoughtful staff. My only regret is that I live in Texas and won't be able to return any time soon.Thank you for those nice compliments! We'll be here when you return to Oregon.Your friends at Porters

Not an inexpensive meal but very fresh fish and well prepared.Great food and fun service...whatâs not to like. The only down side was the extra parking was not open until after 7 that night and it was challenging finding a spot to park. I am sure that is not normal and the rear parking was ample when opened.

A small group of us went to Mcgrath's after touring Harry and David's packaging plant. The restaurant was anything but busy. One couple left as we entered the side we were seated at, and I think there were two couples on the other side. The idea here is that the restaurant was NOT busy and it was about 1:40 in the afternoon. It took over 10 minutes for our server to get to us. We ordered beverages that took another 10 minutes to arrive. At about 10 past 2 pm (30 minutes after arriving, we got to place our orders. At 2:40 pm we got a hold of the manager to find out what the delay was. She went to the kitchen and it was till 10 minutes before we got our food. She didn't return until about 20 past 3 pm and asked if everything was ok. She knew we were displeased with the slow service so she offered a free dessert for everyone. The only reason anyone to it was because she offered to box them up so we could get out of there. It still took another 13 minutes before the desserts arrived and then I think because we had all headed for the register to pay and leave. They even got one of the desserts wrong, so another server offered to exchange it because ours was busy processing payments. The other server was none to nice about it though, making comments about her being off shift, but she'd help us out anyway. I'm pretty sure she did not understand what we'd experienced. Now, the food was actually pretty good. Our group ordered an eclectic mix, and except for the fries being pretty cooled down, and thus soggy/greasy (likely from sitting too long while we waited?) everyone was satisfied.Go there for the food, but don't go there for the service.

My husband and I enjoyed dinner at the Medford Red Lobster while in town for a bridge tournament. Our waitperson, Kyle, could not have been better -- he was pleasant, helpful, patient, and entirely knowledgeable as to the menu and options. My husband ordered fish & chips (cod), and I had grilled shrimp tacos. Both meals were excellent, and large enough that we could taste bites of each other's, as well as taking away some leftovers. We also shared a dessert, the vanilla cheesecake with strawberries, that was enough for two. Kyle sent us on our way with extra biscuits.A nice dining environment, and more than enough food. If you find yourself at the Medford Red Lobster, ask for Kyle! We're so glad to hear you had an amazing time at our Medford Red Lobster!
