I've been coming here for more than 10 years and it has always been very good. But last week I went there for lunch and the grilled anchovy was smelling to ammonia and tasting bitter. Hard to forgive...

Great Thai Sushi with great service. The best of Itapema. Summer nights with DJ. We had the shrimp / ceviche / salmon dish.

Great location. Spectacular view. Great service from an umbrella to get from the ar in to the waiter service.Menu is limited as all plates were for two. Unfortunately I do t eat fish so my partner was limited to eating chicken with me. Kitchen refused to split the meal even though I would have paid more. Disappointing.

You can close your eyes and choose any item on the menu and you won't go wrong. Everything comes out fresh and tasty and the service is excellent. The best seafood restaurant ever.

We were greatly pleased having lunch at Recanto da Sereia. It's a beach front restaurant. Food is awesome and the portion huge. What made even better our experience was the very attentive service by the staff, specially Mr. Frederico. We will come back for sure!

As 4 pessoas comeram bem.

This is a typical restaurant of the coast of Santa Catarina: nice and very fresh products, comfortable and clean ambiance, friendly and efficient staff, very tasty food, large range of choices for seafood and fish, large dishes (can serve up to three clients). The placing is also very nice, in one of the best beaches in the region. And very nice draft beers. Not to miss!

Do sonho à realização.
First impression was amazing. If you have a good table you are able to see Itapema by its finest. Unfortunately the food is not that amazing like the view. The meat is not that tasty like in other restaurants. In addition to this the plates are really small. In conclusion we have a amazing view with a standard restaurant; nothing special...Rest assured that our ultimate goal is your satisfaction, we have no interest in not surprise you when it comes to Indaiá. We do not know where you live, but you may be able to accept our invitation to come back, we are keen to meet you again. We apologize for your dissatisfaction, but we assure you will have a great surprise for another visit! We ask you to make contact with us, we want you as a customer and admirer of our work. Anyway, very grateful, we await your contact Alexander! (:

The pluses first: the personnel is welcoming and really friendly and the venue comfortable. The menu had many different seafood options, which unfortunately I could not choose from because it was written in Portuguese, with no English translation. The waiter was really kind, smiling and willing to help. As I understood, there is no rotation in the menu, which make me fear that the seafood being offered, and not displayed, is not necessarily âcatch of the dayâ. In any event, I finally settled for grilled octopus, which stands freezing better than most other seafood. I am not familiar with the local taste, but the octopus, while certainly tasty, was way overdone: drowned in oil, you could hardly tell the flavour of the sea from the many ingredients it was grilled with. I was a bit disappointed by the bill: 238 reais for the octopus (certainly, not the most expensive seafood), one mixed salad, one beer, and one generous shot of excellent cachaça. This seems in contrast with the frugality of the meal, the value of the ingredients, and the reports of TripAdvisor, which ranks this restaurant as medium-priced (the reported price range is actually low: 21-50 reais). The quality of the meal, while more than acceptable, also contrasts with most reviews. The octopus serving was actually oversized and presented with three different kinds of rice, but having to leave some of it in the dish actually added some regrets, more than solace, to the experience.
