The great thing about travelling in Germany as an Englishman is the Germans don't translate everything, menus are in German ( as a rule ) this makes eating out fantastic fun, and choosing a beer even better. And I'm being serious, in spain everything is in English, where is the fun in that! So maybe I accidentally ordered a pizza with a chewy base with a distinctly fresh from the freezer texture. I also ordered a salad to start and a beer in the interim. Again this could be a cultural divide, but I had to wait for the food before I could have my beer, despite me asking three times. In fact everything arrived in unison, starter, pizza, and beer - like a McDonald's happy meal - except for my experience the result was not so happy. Having said all the above, the staff were very helpful, and the restaurant is certainly popular, and the setting is very pleasant.

Forget about fries, Frankfurt or disgusting dressing on top of your salad, in this restaurant you will feel like in Italy. Few courses both meat or fish but brilliantly presented, large choice of wines, kind and competent Italian personnel, reasonable prices. Highly recommended!

Had a superb dinner with colleagues at Raffaeles.Excellent and tasty grilled mushrooms.Surprisingly exciting seafood spaghetti and a nice desert.Friendly Italian staff. Good wine advise, though the wine-selection seems to be rather small. A grappa on the house came with the bill.Lucky to have found a place in Unterfoehring where I'd love to go back.

This is an excellent Italian restaurant. We had a dinner based on seafood, which was very fresh, as well as perfectly and originally cooked. The waiters, who are very kind, do not speak English. The value for money is very high and a visit is definitely recommended.

We went here before going to the BMW factory tour. The restaurant is just 10 min walk from BMW on a quiet street. Nice outdoor seating and very fast service. Several lunch dishes to choose from for only 7-8â¬. It tasted just great! Can definitely recommend.

On our last night at the Pullman in Munich we had no idea where to eat close by. The hotel clerk recommend Trattoria Da Fausto; a delightful restaurant and just a short, pretty walk from the hotel. The restaurant is beautifully decorated in a traditional way: Murano style glass light fixtures, greenery, cloth table & napkins. The menu has a good variety of food. We had duck Carpaccio, a mixed salad, a duck stuffed ravioli, tagliatelle, chardonnay and bottled water. The portions were generous, well presented and the food was delicious. The owner even included complimentary Limoncello at the meals end. Unfortunately we were too full for dessert.We were waited on mostly by the owner and his wife. We ended up chatting with them a lot and it turns out they sometimes visit our home city of Montreal. We hope to meet up with them in Montreal the next time they come here. We highly recommend this restaurant!Mille grazie team Fausto

We went to this restaurant due to good TA reviews and we were not disappointed, by far! The location is cozy, clean and tastefully decorated. The service is very professional, attentive. The quality and execution of the food is definitely worth the five stars. The mixed antipasti gave a nice insight into the kitchen's capabilities, excellent vitello tonnato, amazing beef tartare with rocket salad and parmesan, amazingly good pickled eggplant, etc. The noodles were freshly made, the olive oil of good quality and truffles freshly grated by the waiter. The pizza was also among the best i had, however i was more enchanted by the other dishes. Definitely will go back!

We liked it very much, it tasted all fresh. Even my young daughter like it and she doesn't enjoy sushi usually. But we did not take the "Mittagsmenu", so I do not know if the quality is the same.The personal is very nice.It is a small place, so I guess it can get crowded.We are pleased to hear that you and your family like our food. I was several times there, inside and outside in the garden. I find it a really decent restaurant, with good quality Greek food, really good seafood especially fantastic pulpos, and great fresh salads. Never experienced bad service being friendly to the waiters. !!! Small tips are expected!
