Reviews on Seafood food in Isabela, Galapagos Islands, Ecuador. The largest of the Galapagos Islands, Isabela is one of the most volcanically active places in the world. Whether this is thrilling or terrifying is up to you. It doesn’t seem to bother the iguanas and penguins of Las Tintoreras, a nearby island cluster and popular snorkeling site. Walk from Puerto Villamil through mangrove forests and saltwater lagoons to reach the Tortoise Breeding Center. Isabela was once used as an exile for prisoners, who built the devastating Wall of Tears as part of their punishment.

The best place in isabela galapagos
Food was excellent! Absolutely loved the tree tomato dessert! This local Red Lobster does seafood the way any American probably wishes the chain at home would do it - fresh, unique and absolutely delicious!

The Los Delfines Restaurant & Pizzeria focuses on meeting customer needs and providing excellent service and an extensive range of dishes with a good taste and effectiveness, based on experience and national recognition of our chefs, We also have excellen
The dinner plates, which come with soup, salad, rice, fries (or lentils), protein and dessert. Vern had the herbed shrimp ($8) and I selected the slipper lobster ($14). The juice today was Tamarind, Vern drank them, I got a coke. The cream of asparagus soup was very good. The mustard sauce salad not so much. Both the shrimp (qty 4) and the slipper lobster were very tasty. The dessert was a flan, of sorts.

Came here 3 times in 2 days. Food was great, but something questionable about their billing, hence the poor review. On the third time I came to the restaurant, they'd upcharged and tried to argue that it was correct. Then added the VAT on top of the corrected bill when it wasn't done so in previous days. Way to treat a return customer. Read your line items when you pay.

Maestro de Casa offers you a great variety of typical plates and also drinks, as us for the fresh fish of the day, different types of grilled meats accompanied with delicious side dishes, ceviches and seafood prepared with special care, burgers and vegeta
We ate here twice for dinner over a 4-day period. The $10 ceviche was great and plentiful, and was served with rice and patacones, so was very filling. The second time we had tuna in coconut sauce, which was decent but not as good as the ceviche. The service was always friendly and surprisingly fast, given the quality of the meals. No credit cards accepted, so bring cash.

The food is good and they have affordable prices but the restaurant in general looks old. I understand that it's Galápagos, it's Isabela and maybe the restaurant have a rustic theme but there's a difference. It's good but I don't recommend it.

Relax at our restaurant or a table at the beach, surrounded by the charms of Isabela and the tastes of our blend of international, Ecuadorian and Peruvian cuisine. Every dish on our menu is prepared with fresh and organic ingredients that are locally grow
Breakfast was included in our stay. Each morning was a large and different buffet from hot to cold offerings. The owner has an organic garden and dairy so the vegetables and milk/cheese/yogurt are outstanding. We enjoyed dinner here our last evening. Knowing that pasta is a specialty, we ordered carbonara and pasta with shrimp. Both were generous plates of perfectly cooked and seasoned pasta, one with a dozen shrimp. We enjoyed a Ecuadorian soup and several nibbles because the excellent service is slow to deliver entrees, all prepared just for you and worth waiting for. The dining space is serene and not at all crowded when we were there. The sophisticated offerings were another unexpected surprise on this lovely and casual island.Dear k w. thanks for your review and your possitive comments about the breakfast and dishes of our Restaurant! As you wrote we have an organic farm in the highlands where we harvest the veggies and fruits that are used in the restaurant, as well as we produce our own milk, eggs, fresh cheese and jam. All the best and hope to see you soon again!

In the Endemic Turtle Restaurant there is a space dedicated to American, Italian and Mediterranean cuisine. It is ideal for lovers of the rustic and natural, completes the charm of the place accompanied by strong dishes such as Crunch Tuna, Glassed Octopu
The pizza is fantastic- cooked in an outdoor pizza oven. If you enjoy seafood try the seafood pizza for a true Galapagos experience. They also have great tacos as well as burgers and sandwiches. We ate here twice during our stay and really enjoyed both meals. They also have a great variety of cocktails. Definitely worth a visit (or 2)!

Sea Food, Vegetarian Food, Traditional Food, Gourmet Food...
During my three month stay on the island of Isabela, I ate lunch at El Cafetal nearly every single day! Victoria, our waitress, was incredibly sweet and always so excited to see us! She was very personable and always had a smile on her face. They have an excellent variety, and offer something different each and every day! This was by far the best food I ate at a restaurant in the Galapagos. It is also very centrally located. I love sitting outside and watching the lazy afternoon "traffic" roll by. I highly recommend any of their pasta dishes, or the vegetable tostones!Es placentero saber que fue una experiencia grata, esperamos que vuelva a disfrutar del restaurante si algún dÃa retorna a la isla, gracias por su opinión.

This restaurant came highly recommended by our tour guide. The second day of our three day trip we decided to have a late lunch. It was so good, we returned the next day for another late lunch. Beware, it gets crowded fast, and without reservations, it can be a long wait, but it so worth it. The plates are visual feast for the eyes. The presentation is so beautiful, you whipped out your iPhone to take pictures. You almost don't want to eat it! From the first bite, you hooked. The food just melts in your mouth. Not only is the food delectable, but the atmosphere is charming. It feels like you are at a quaint Paris cafe; open-aired, looking out into the street, watching all the passer buyers go by. Now we see why it so highly recommended. Try it-You will love it.
