Reviews on Seafood food in Iquitos, Loreto Region, Peru. Make the port town of Iquitos your base camp for exploring the Peruvian Amazon basin. The river and rainforest are the main attractions, of course, and once in Iquitos it's easy to book a stay at one of numerous nearby jungle lodges. Closer to town, travelers recommend visiting the market and "floating village" of Belen, seeing colorful creatures at the butterfly farm and animal rescue center, and taking a cruise on the great river.

I have eaten at Palo Alto several times and the quality is excellent and consistent. One of my favorites for cebiche! The arroz con mariscos is also very good!2nd Floor Restaurant with a balcony. Nice fresh air with a breeze on the balcony during hot days.Enjoy!
Seriously a gem! Itâs easy to miss - up the stairs from the entryway on the street. Cosy and authentic. The two gentlemen running the place went above and beyond to make sure we were getting what we wanted (language barrier). Even so far as to get pictures of their food so we could choose and understand each other. The food was top notch and the place is clean with a fabulous view. Drinks were also very good. We plan on coming back!
Peruvian food, our specialty is Fish and shellfish, typical food and fusión food.
A small restaurant with great food! The ceviche was fresh and had great flavor!Mid-day, they also have a set menu, with starter, then main dish, with refresco included for s/10.00 soles ($3.50). An excellent bargain for lunchtime.Enjoy!

One of the best cebicherias in Iquitos! If you are looking for a good clean cebiche restaurant, Malla Olimpica should be top on your list.I love cebiche and I ordered the combo cebiche and arroz con mariscos (rice with seafood). Surprised by the large portions as most cebiche restaurants give you very small amounts of cebiche. But at Malla Olimpica, it was more than double what most restaurants serve! No way I could finish it all and the take home leftover was enough for another meal! Easily could have shared this meal with another person. And the quality of the cebiche was excellent. Fresh, tender and delicious!Malla Olimpica also has an extensive menu with many Peruvian favorites. The service was very attentive and responded quickly to any request.Malla Olimpica has a sports bar theme with photos and jerseys of many sports favorites.I am getting hungry again now thinking about this review and going to go there again today for cebiche!Enjoy!

As I travel throughout Peru, one of the types of foods that I love to eat is the cebiche. In Iquitos, Coma y Punto is outstanding for cebiche! The restaurant is clean with a fresh smell. The cebiche is delicious and there are many variations to choose from including combos so you can try several types. The arroz con mariscos at Coma y Punto is delicious. Even though I was more than full with the cebiche and some of the huge portion of arroz con mariscos, the flavor was so good I just coundn't stop. Almost addictive!Great location is easy to get to, and only a few short blocks from the Plaza de Armas and other central Iquitos locations.I will be going back again to Coma y Punto!Enjoy!

It is an OK restaurant with a lot to choose from, including fish. Nevertheless I would not say that it fully justifies their prices. You get a feeling that there is some pretension to be a top-end restaurant but food and service still need to be improved. Good view of the river.

Very big, clean, nicely decorated place. I was skeptical at first as it seem a bit touristy but the place does get packed, always a good sign. Food is very good and the staff is very attentive. Always eager to explain dishes and make suggestions. Go early as it does get loud with the musical performance.

From the walk to the dock to the delicious food and drinks, every aspect of our experience was fabulous. You take a boat over to the restaurant, where you are greeted by friendly and attentive staff. The ceviche and fish dishes we had were top notch. The view and atmosphere was amazing. I would highly recommend, it is worth every penny even if it is more expensive than other restaurants in the area. One thing to note, the entrance to the dock is not very obvious, although they have someone manning the door and asking if youâd like to dine there.
