Fried clams were first rate. Pub burger thick, delicious and cooked to perfection. Grilled chicken sandwich top notch. Interior is dated but in a charming way. Everything was a bit old fashioned which is to say utterly enjoyable. So pleased we CBR. Keep up the good work. A real antidote to todayâs plastic world.

Wonderful seafood (eat in or take out). Also amazing catering service!! We are closed for the season. Reopening mid March or by April 1st
Restaurant was recommended by an antique dealer in town. We had lunch and were delighted. Fried clams were pricy but were sweet and not chewy. Clam chowder was also filled with clams and was superior and superb. Staff was friendly and attentive. We will return!

Returning from Crane's Beach we decided to try a new restaurant. Stopping at "Clamhouse Restaurant" the three/four parking spots out front were taken. We noticed a sign saying parking in the rear. We have never seen such "vile" filth that included a dirt parking lt with trash discarded in it. The Trash container was overflowing and the " discarded oil container" was filthy buzzing with flies. If their surrounding were of this caliber then I would not chance any restaurant for a meal. Can't say we would ever stop here for a meal after viewing the filth left for potential customers to view.
