Things to do in Iloilo City
This is one of my favorite restaurants in Iloilo City. It never fails to satisfy my cravings. Tonight I had a special dinner with some friends. We had some seaweed soup, deep fried mantis shrimps, buttered prawbs, noodles with crabs, etc. The dinner was simply lovely! Foods may be a bit costly, but it's worth your money. Sevice was great and the waiters were very friendly. Thimbs up!
Nato and Helen: I believe that this restaurant will appeal more to Filipinos than foreigners. Whilst the Filipinos in our group were getting quite excited about the food, we two westerners couldn't wait to be out. Large amounts of pigs bones with very little meat - feet - what am I expected to find? Catfish smoked...... if this is your kind of food, enjoy. If it's not look elsewhere. The only saving grace was the sinegan soup.

Nothing beats the garlic shrimps that they serve! I crave those shrimps every time I think about it. Haha. I'd definitely come back here and have more of that dish. The liempo was also good. This place is a must-try for anyone who's visiting Iloilo.

Friend invited me for lunch to this local seafood restaurant. Along Diversion Road /Aquino Highway. The food is good, price is affordable. Build on native materials, and an expanded seafood restaurant. They have two area, an enclosed air con dining and open area. Additional service charge in aircon room?Good choice of Filipino food, mostly with the local taste - spicy, salty and sweet. You can order seafood from fresh choice, and pay on per gram basis.Service is average. Good for locals.

The Feast of the Seven Fishes is a traditional Italian-American Christmas Eve dinner that brings families and friends together in a grand meal featuring at least 7 kinds of superbly prepared seafood. 7 Fishes, the restaurant, offers a venue for excellentl
If you crave for good seafood dishes (among other things), then visit this place. I've been to its original branch in Roxas City and I was very satisfied with the restaurant's foods and service. This one in Iloilo City definitely has far more modern facilities, a nicer ambiance and classy furnishing. But the foods in the original branch are a bit better and fresher. However, this one in Iloilo doesn't lag that far behind, even if it's a bit pricier. But the staff are as friendly and accommodating as ever. :D

PUNOT. Flavors of Modern Iloilo.Located along the Iloilo River, it is one riverside dining experience you will surely enjoy.Punot is the first venture of siblings Chef Tope + Advertising Executive Andrea. They pay tribute to their parents Lea and Rogelio
Punot (named after a particular type of fishpen), which I think opened only last 2013 (after the success of two other restaurants by the same owners in Estancia), is one of my favorite restaurants in Iloilo City. It is located at Riverside Boardwalk, Diversion Road (overlooking the Esplanade that runs along Iloilo River near Smallville). Every time I go there I always go to the second floor for more privacy and a better view of the river. The foods they serve are simply great! There's a good selection of Ilonggo dishes and sea foods. I love their chowder, pomelo salad, baked oysters, sea food kare-kare, crispy pata, and much more! They also have good drinks and desserts. The staff (especially the waiters) are very friendly and accommodating. They don't even mind taking your photos when you request them to.As to how famous the place is, just take a look at the pictures of famous personalities who have come to dine at Punot. They are on display along the staircase. TIP: be sure to call them up first before going there, because sometimes the place gets fully booked (especially on weekends).

It was great having a chance to have our lunch here again. The staff are all accommodating and pleasant. Quite disappointed with the food though. KBL was not that flavorful as the ones I tasted . Fish and other food we ordered are all kulang sa timpla. We used to have our lunch here before and it was really good then. I just hope that they can manage to bring back the good taste on their food again.

The seafood, especially oysters are famed in Iloilo and this is one of the best places to have a good seafood meal with good service. You choose your dishes from a central display counter that exhibits the samples of some of the popular dishes. The waiter then comes to take your orders for drinks and service is prompt.
