Hida Furukawa is very small town but very beautiful and quiet area. I found this restaurant "とと家" maybe "Totoya" when we are walking, this restaurant seems blowfish is good, but we had other fish lunch sets, I ordered the yellowtail teriyaki, very very yummy! and rice and miso suup are also good!price also reasonable, my set was only 650 yen! vist there when you go to Hida Furukawa!

飛騨古川は概して食のレベルが高いが、この居酒屋まーくんも（とても地元民の案内無しでは入りにくい店だが）、おいしいお刺身とお料理、そしてお酒が印象的である。決して席数が多くないので事前に電話しておいた方が良いかもしれない。

We enjoyed a dinner for four friends here, was an amazing night experiencing the freshest sushi and Japanese culture. We enjoyed the ‘Chef’s selection’, to which we were given 8-10 pieces of sushi. There was no English menu, our japanese friends provided translation. May be difficult for non-japanese speakers but worth the effort. Highly recommend.

Had the omikase dinner, which is chefs choice. You tell chef what foods you like and how much you want to spend. We had 2 fish dishes and 2 beef dishes and assorted side dishes. Was a fantastic meal for about $45. They don't speak English but she has a translator on I phone.

子持ち鮎の美味しい季節、飛騨の古川タナへ行く予定だったが、ちょうどお昼時で神岡近くの４７１号道沿いに上り旗が立っていたので立ち寄った。鮎定食 2500円（鮎のうるか・鮎のみぞれあげ・子持ち鮎塩焼き3匹・鮎飯・トン汁・豆腐・漬物・どじょう佃煮？等、塩焼き3匹の内２匹が子なしで残念、当たり外れがある様だが、まあまあ値段相応の料理である、なんと云っても天然ものはいい、おすすめ。
