my husband ordered a steak sandwich,the steak was tough and overcooked and the bread just fell apart,my daughter fish finger sandwich had to much tartare sauce in it,the other meals where ok just not what we have had before as we have visted everytime we come to herne bay,not happy about it as we enjoy eating thereWe're very sorry to hear that you have had a poor experience at our establishment. I have personally spoken to all the staff about this incident and I have been informed that the manager on duty at the time replaced the sandwiches for you as this was a genuine mistake and not the usual standard that we would expect coming out of our kitchen. Excellent fast service and great value. Portion size was huge and great quality. Lovely thin crispy batter on fish, cooked to perfection. Chips were lovely and chunky and very tasty. Only wish this was in my area but unfortunately we were only visiting. Next time we are back (soon hopefully) we will definitely be back. GREAT FOOD.

Had pie and chips here one afternoon.Has a great location right on the front next to Wetherspoons.The place is very clean and welcoming and the staff are efficient and welcoming.The food was decent enough, but it was served on a freezing cold plate.This made the food cold quite quickly....the pie was already only luke warm so I had to eat that pretty quickly..the chips were ok, but a little under cooked.Free ketchup which is a novelty these days as many chippies charge for sachets.Will try once more next time I'm in the area just incase the cold plates were a one off.

Had a wee trip to Herne Bay yesterday, visited this chippy, went for take away option, excellent service from girls behind counter, sat in take away seating area, was a bit untidy, but you would expect folk to clean up after themselves, appeared like the owner was tidying up, a southern staff were busy, food was relish, would definitely visit here again if in Herne Bay.

Worth the walk from the seafront! Ignore the drab exterior and focus on the first class service and truly excellent food! This is freshly cooked fish and chips at its very best! Generous portions served by friendly, helpful staff what more do you need? Pity they do not have a seating area, but do not be put off by this! I thoroughly reccomend this establishment and I do not believe you will find better anywhere in this area or those close by!!

We went to "Mushy Peas" today and what a pleasant surprise !The exterior doesn't do the inside justice, the decor, seating area's, chandeliers and service was delightful as so was the food. The presentation was good too.The staff were very hospitable, polite and nothing was too much trouble. This will now be our number 1 choice for fish and chips on our future visits to Herne Bay ... they do steak too, which I may have on our next visit. I would recommend this place, don't judge it from the outside as we have previously done.

As always when we visit herne bay we always go to fish in two as it's always brill cooked fresh ever time the staff are really lovely from fryers to waitress very clean good service nothing is to much trouble for the waitress she is so lovely a little tip goes a long way thank you all again for a lovely meal see you real soon keep up the good food I would recommend fish Inn two to all who appreciate good fish and chips

I took my French Godson here to take-away typical English fish and chips - not that these are 'typical' fish and chips.The owner is always friendly and efficient and gives a small portion of chips whilst you main order is being freshly cooked. The portions are enormous (so much so that mine lasted me for two meals) and always tasty - even more so when their own Shakey, Shakey seasoning is added. It is always good value or money. My Godson thoroughly enjoyed his meal.

We ( a party of 7 including 3 kids) ate here last night for the first time. We arrived at 5.15 and us ladies took advantage of 2 cocktails for £8 ( they have to be the same) we had a passion fruit martini and boy it was truly lovely - so good we ordered more!Kids under 10 have a good deal of a £4 menu . In our party we had lobster , mussels , steak and Ribs - all of which were very generous. We loved the âcontainer â for the mussels - very original. The fries were very good too nicely flavoured.There was barely room for desert but had Churros with Chocolate sauce and a chocolate brownie (gluten free) with ice cream. The deserts too were delicious.The waitress who sadly I didnât know the name of what attentive and prompt with seeing to any needs .I do wish they could include a halloumi burger as the only non meat burger on offer is a spicy veggie and I donât like spicy I would highly recommend this place for meat lovers although a few more veggie / vegan items would be a great addition .
