I love Mexican style shrimp cocktails. The presentation and taste always make my taste buds water.I had not ever been to this place but we were in town overnight so came in for dinner. Most of us enjoyed our food but for me the star was the shrimp dishes. We would return when in town again.

The food is OK, but nothing special. The service is good. Is more like a drinking bar. I ordered a grilled octopus and it was overcooked.

In this space we offer our guests a more casual and with some alternatives for dinner either outdoors, or in some of our private rooms. Its opening in 2011, commemorates our pride and satisfaction to celebrate our 50th anniversary in the city. Here we can
Of course, there are many seafood restaurants in Hermosillo, but this is probably the only one that looks like a real restaurant and not a diner. They have been improving the décor, but still have opportunities in this area. They also offer private rooms of different sizes. They have a wide range of liquors, but limited wine offer. Waiters are attentive, but sometimes overwhelming, and can get confused since they all attend all the tables.I remember when they opened and the chef used to suggest daily specials, but I haven´t heard about those for a long time. They pamper their regular costumers, by engraving their names on the wine glasses.Sea food is mandatory here. Ask for the catch of the day. They also have shrimps, scallops, oysters, octopus in many different styles.Hello RicherTrips! We'd like to thank you for such a positive review! We are very pleased to hear that you enjoyed the place as we work hard each day to provide our clients comfortable areas to eat, relax, and enjoy themselves. Like you mentioned, our chefs still offer specials that you can ask for to our waiters, and you can take a look at the menu highlights to see and taste El Farallón's most popular dishes. It is our pleasure to keep both old and new clients happy and to reward their preference for our restaurant. Thank you once again! We really hope to see you back again very soon!

We are frequent customers of this restaurant. Its one of those rare restaurants that have all in one. Service, food and cleanliness. The places its always full,so there is a waiting list. But in the meantime, the hostess offers you(compliment of the house) a small beer. The restaurant decoration its kind of maritime eclectic, with a relax feeling. The food its soo good. I have tried different dishes and never dissapoints. Also, there is this sauce with "chile guerito"(caribbean chile) that everyone is obsessed with.I you seat inside, the atmosphere its family oriented. Outside, its more like a hang out restaurant.I would highly recommend this place.

This is a classic in northen Mexico. The service its fast and friendly, and the food its fresh, delicious and healthy(well..maybe there are some greasy items). You have the "carnes los arbolitos" and "mariscos los arbolitos" (meat and seafood). The seafood menu its larger than the meat's menu.My favorite dishes are the tostada coqueta, molcajete don carlos and the machaca de marlin. Although I have to say, everything you order, its going to be tasty. I have ordered too the "mariscada" which its a super large tray with different dishes in small portions.

La Cura is a great little funky seafood place in Hermosillo. The decor is way out on the funky side - there are skulls and skeletons all over the place. However, the funkiness only adds to the experience. There is a covered patio that looks like it'd be nice for the cooler months, but since it was +100F this June lunchtime we elected to eat inside. The food. Wow. Just Wow. The plates aren't fancy, but they're very, very tasty and are absolutely priced right. You have to try the Tostado Sahuaro (get it "picante" if you like hot) - it is amazing (shrimp, avocados, and more in an incredibly complex dark broth sauce). Among the table we had a variety of fish/seafood tacos and the filet - all were outstanding. The service was good, attentive without being overbearing. The food comes out fast, and if you want more your seconds will come out quickly too (at least for us it did at the early beginnings of the lunch rush - don't know about dinner time). This is a place you'd drive by without knowing about it, but don't make that mistake. You won't be sorry for stopping.
