Our Portuguese Friend took us to this little back street Restaurant whilst in the old town for lunch, when we arrived Prazeres the owner was stood outside watching the people walking buy, we were shown inside with a big smile and taken over to the glass fronted cooler to admire the catch of the day, after being asked if we wanted to eat or just drinks, we chose to eat also, and we were so glad we did. After a couple of cold beers, Olives arrived with a large chunk of sliced fresh bread, followed by King prawns cooked in Garlic and butter, just amazing, we were hooked there and then.My wife chose Sea Bass and i chose fillet steak, whilst our mains were being cooked we took time to observe the decor and the cleanliness of this little restaurant, it was spotless and that included the toilets also, very clean.Mains arrived large portions with beautifully cooked fillet (just as i ordered) and Sea bass accompanied with veg, Potatoes and salad, washed down with a local bottle of Rose wine, absolutely outstanding, no rush, but very attentive service by Prazeres and his team. Will definitely be returning.

We ordered here 2x seabass, the Lamb and a seafood cataplana(note; 5 dishes 4 persons cataplana counts for 2). The food taste really good, it was well seasoned and cooked. The portion are oke. That's why we ordered 5 dishes, but one of us can eat so.... The waiter here is amazing, he is very friendly and funny, makes a joke every now and then. And after paying we all got a shot of port before leaving. Overal would recommend eating here, the food is good and the staff friendly.

Restaurant Rossio is situated in a calm and quiet area of Albufeira, between the old town and the marina. Restaurant Rossio have different kind of fish, sea food, meat and pastas. Every day till 17:00 o'clock, we have a dish of the day. (fish or meat), th
We saw this restaurant on an earlier wander through the town, it was very close to where we were staying and despite the fact that it hadnât wowed us with its first impression we were feeling lazy so that was how we chose it...thank goodness for tired legs and a âwell letâs give it a goâ attitude, it was excellent! It was much quieter and more sedate than some of the other restaurants we had tried on previous nights, but that meant you could actually talk to each other, it was charmingly cosy and intimate even though you were sitting alongside a side street. Even though the place was extremely busy and we didnât have a reservation they managed to squeeze us in, and after an initial wait to be served, the staff proved to be efficient and prompt to serve our meals but it was so worth the wait! My lamb chops were absolutely lovely, as was the crepe and ice cream dessert I had. My other half really enjoyed his meal too, when the bill was presented so were liqueurs (on the house) along with a 10% discount for a future meal, considering how reasonably priced and how good the meal was we didnât feel they needed to give us any enticement to get us to return or to wholeheartedly recommend this lovely little restaurant

Palm Beach has a great location virtually on the beach! Service was excellent & we shared a large red snapper which had been cooked to perfection! Plenty of veg, mixed tomatoes/pepper/onion salad with Portuguese style potatoes! Price was reasonable & local lager was very palatable. Well call again whilst weâre here!

Mediterranean Tapas Restaurant in Albufeira city center, with a wide variety of tapas and delicious dishes served both inside and on the rooftop terrace overlooking the main square of the old town.
In Olympique we had tapas and dessert, the food was excellent and the staff very friendly. Itâs situated just off the main square but manages to maintain a calm and peaceful surrounding. I canât remember exactly what we had for main, but the home made Algarve Delight and Mandarin Mousse we had for dessert were memorable.

Traditional portuguese cousine with tapad and regional uppetizers, live seafood, bean stew, cataplana, seafood rice, razor clam rice and much more sea flavors
Went here for the first time, based on TripAdvisor recommendations. Out of season, the restaurant was virtually empty. We were shown a nice table by window. We had the cover and a sea bream for two, plus a nice local red wine. Service was friendly and helpful. Service was quick and efficient. The fish was served with boiled potatoes and a tomato salad. Excellent food. Finally the owner gave us some of his own liquor, which was fantastic. Definitely come here again.

We have loved and visited this restaurant for 12 years whenever we are in Armacao wich is about once a year. We arrived last night and went straight to the restaurant only to find a sign on the door saying, 'For health reasons, we will not be serving dinner from July 17th 2019.' We saw 2 staff who were waiting for a tradesman and asked what was happening and when they would start opening for dinner again. They replied, 'Maybe October.' We were really disappointed as this is our favourite restaurant in Armacao. We hope the lovely lady who runs front of house is not unwell but were not given a full explanation.

This restaurant never ceases to amaze! We prebooked for our daughterâs birthday, asking for a cake with candles. We got the usual very warm welcome from the staff, all of whom we now know well. Predrinks and shown to our table in this small, intimate restaurant. Two had the tornedos and two had the mussels, with minor distractions from our daughters 4 month old baby. The wine was absolutely fantastic and accompanied the food well. We finished with a beautiful chocolate cake with candles and everyone in the restaurant singing Happy Birthday to our daughter. Truly a night to remember.
