My husband and I have been going to this restaurant since 2004...love their Calamari, always home cooked and fresh...and always found the staff helpful and pleasant... it is in a nice location, so the fact it is expensive for small amounts of food was completely acceptable...however:... today we were charged extra for little sachets of mayo and tomato ketchup.....they were always complimentary as they are in every other cafe or restaurant... we questioned it... but to no avail....we feel so disappointed that after going there for 12 years they are making a stand on what comes down to 40 cents...feel they are becoming a little greedy. It's not the money, as we always left a generous tip - it's the fact that they're boosting their profits at the expense of loyal customers - that's what's hurtful. so sad to write this post...

We ordered bread with aioli and tomato, garlic prawns, chicken paella and an american hamburger. None of them could really satisfy us.Although the place looks nice I wouldnât recommend it. There are better (and cheaper) restaurants to be found at the boulevard!

Lovely setting - overlooking the beach. You can sit inside, but it's nice outside under the shades when the weather's good. A typical Spanish restaurant with tapas, paellas and lots of seafood on offer. Whatever we order is always good - particularly paellas and sardines. You can't go wrong. Good local wine too.

We visited as guests of a friend for a night of entertainment and a meal.The evening was over subscribed and although the entertainment was excellent the bar system left a lot to be desired. Whether this is the norm as the venue does put on major horse shows as entertainment but we had to attend an inadequately staffed bar to firstky pay cash for our "monopoly money" vouchers in order to.purchase.our drinks.Then when the undoubtedly wrong amount of vouchers have been purchased you are "paid" in "monopoly money" vouchers again as change..meaning you can only redeem them on site..similar to playing Bingo in Blackpool!!!The food was good and as I said our entertainment was 1st class it was just 0 bar that left a lot to be desired. Maybe that was down to numbers and the fact it was 99% british audience so frequent visits to.the bar were inevitable!!

Lunch watching a turbulent mediterranean, in a good dining room with attentive waiters, serving high quality food,excellent seafood starters featuring prawns and octopus followed by fillet (solomillo) steak cooked medium rare to perfection but with an added twist of a mini gas powered hot plate to further cook to your personal preference, the steak was moist, cooked through,tender and tasty. Will definitely return.

We stayed near to this bar/restaurant on a recent trip. We started our first day in Spain here straight from the airport for lunch. Set menu and very inexpensive and tasty. Seemed a very authentic Spanish place. We had to use our very best Spanish to navigate the menu of the day with the waiter. On another occasion we called in and sat outside for a drink and watch the Spanish football with a few locals. On our last evening we called in again and ordered tapas. A selection from the bar. Everything looked lovely and we shared a selection, artichokes, meatballs,pork, pataas bravas etc etc. Everything was tasty and I would say some of the best tapas I have ever had in Spain. Again football was on and there was a good atmosphere. Drinks and tapas for 5 for about 30 euros, absolute bargain. The quality was outstanding.

Faced with restaurants galore it can sometimes be difficult to figure out which may suit you best. Ashamed to say I was drawn to this as it had tablecloths so I thought it was probably better. I wasnât wrong. We had a very large glass sangria, Coke, chicken kebab with chips and a delicious home made lasagne. Great view over the beach and clean toilets. Very good meal .

Went here for drinks only this time - it's a great place to watch the sea and people watch! The raised balcony looks straight onto the beach/sea. It was a lovely sunny day, so especially nice. The waiters are efficient. This is a typical Spanish restaurant - there is an extensive food menu, but we didn't eat on this occasion.

A restaurant by the sea, named after the sea, with a feeling from the decor of dining inside the sea. The food was wonderful, we had the tasting menu. The kidâs menu also good. Service very welcoming and professional. This is fine dining in a local coastal town and at a very reasonable price. Certainly worth a visit if you want some more exclusive than most other places in the area.
