I have been here twice, and the third time was absolutely better than ever! I highly recommend this restaurant. Service very professional, food is fantastic and wonderfully presented. Little bonus before you start your main course, and another one before you have desert. Wine List is very good and not at all over priced. The overall price, we were 7 persons, is really very fair for what you get, I would say fantastic. Atmosphere is as Always very intimate and cozy.I will certainly go there again.

"Lo Scalo dei Sapori" is an italian restaurant with a warm and relaxing atmosphere, just 1 km far from Orio al Serio International Airport in Bergamo. Here you will have the chance to taste some of the most popular dishes of the Mediterranean tradition, a
I went twice, one month apart, both times with friends, and the experience was dramatically different: lunch was excellent, almost white glove service, every detail counted, super cozy and amazing food; then dinner with lack of care, wrong food delivered to our table, extremely long wait. It was bizarre: other guests who came later were served before and even left the place while we were still wondering where our dishes were. It did not even seem like we were in the same restaurant! A third time will tell

The concept of "Lombard tradition and creative genius" is the leitmotiv of Da Vittorio's menus, which are regularly updated and altered to keep up with changes in the market and in the seasons. The care, attention and exploration of culinary themes is kep
Perhaps our expectations were too high, but we left with a feeling of disappointment. The meal and service started at the expected high level but as the restaurant continued to fill, the service level dropped. Maybe we were unlucky and even the best restaurant can have a bad day but the truth is that having acquired 3 stars does oblige an establishment to maintain the level.

On our last night in Italy we decided after some great reviews to eat here! It cost us 35 euro return from NH Betgamo in a taxi but the food was very reasonable I was disappointed in the food ! It was just average and they had no rice?? they did there best to translate what we would like ! My dish definitely got lost in translation Nice staff wasn't worth the taxi faresI'm really sorry that the evening when you came here, the rice was finished, unfortunately, it happens.I clearly remember when I asked you, it is ok the dinner??you told me: FANTASTIC! FANTASTIC DINNER !! WITH THUMB UP ..so why did you have to pretend and then said disappointment behind the pc ??it does not seem correct to us,to be able to help you call the taxi to return back to hotel, I made almost a 20 minutes call.more than that I don't know what to do.by the way,4km distance , the taxi charged you 35 euro, I think you can make the complaint ,it's not correct

This is a restaurant that you would be hard come to find by accident. Set in an new industrial town, in a residential road just off the motorway. We were desperate to eat so had left the auto route determined to find 'anywhere' to eat. When we entered and saw the decor we nearly ran, so glad we didn't! There is not a space empty on any window sill, shelf or other piece of furniture. It is so kitch and mad it is almost cool! Mama may be in charge of the decor and cleanliness (excellent) but luckily her son is cooking. He offered us fresh fish dishes not on the menu and we were delighted; My sea bass was amazing and my husband's very ugly but unidentified fish had him in raptures. Although we only took a glass of wine each, great pains were made to find out what we liked and give each of us a wine we would like.

We had a long layover at Bergamo on the way home to Ireland from Bulgaria and I wanted to find a nearby restaurant for a good Italian meal which would meet my partners coeliac requirements. A google later we found Jollys, a very unassuming restaurant which is in the small village of Grassobbio, 10 minute taxi from the airport. It is open all day and has an extensive menu. The owner was so welcoming and we had an excellent octopus salad starter to share, brilliant pizza and gluten free beer and desert. They do all sorts of grain bases, pastas and meat and fish courses also. We were given gifts as we left and had a great chat with the owner also. It is worth getting away from the airport and chains in the nearby shopping centre for a decent meal with a fantastic welcome and very decent food. We will return!

In the kitchen, the work starts from the raw material: carefully selected and treated with respect to value the best products in recipes that are researched, sophisticated but never contrived. The ingredients, their flavors, their textures and aromas are

Excellent food, very sophisticated and creative, great choice of good wines, waiters very helpful, smiling, patient. The degustation menu was splendid on every level : taste, aspect, service. The place is neat, very pretty, decorated with quite good taste and the access is very easy, with a parking lot just next. Quite a fine dinner weâve had there ! Very grateful

Porta Osio takes the name from a door in the old wall surrounding the city and conserve some walls embedded in the building. Forty seats to be cuddled in tranquillity. The restaurant has been standing out for the first -class choice of cold cuts and chees
Was invited by a business contact. But had to pay the bill. It was supposed to be a business lunch. The food was exquisite, the wine superb, the ambience beautiful, but the portions!!!!!! my god Lilliputian! 5 pieces of pasta as a starter and 2 mouthful as a main course. The apple strudel was a thin slice. The wine was superb as worth the price but as soon as I got home I had to eat as I was hungry. Thank you but not for me.
