I started going to Fin's at their original location on Madison in Fair Oaks a Looooooong time ago when they first opened and then finding better locations they expanded.Fin's used to be picnic tables with plastic covers and little to no ambience. However, their fish was outstanding. You can order fresh fish to cook at home or eat in.All of their fish is extremely fresh and delicious. They make this fish sandwich with a big piece of whatever fish that reminds me of the small street side places in Hawaii...so good. When people think of the best Seafood restaurant in the area, Scott's will usually get the pick, but I'm convinced that they either don't know about Fin's or just forgot. Being a fish market as well as restaurant many might not think of it as a restaurant.Big mistake. This IS the best seafood restaurant in the region, bar none. So if you have a craving for fish and more fish, This is your place.

Full service Bar and Restaurant, located conveniently inside the Roseville Galleria Mall with a outdoor, heated patio. Selection of salads, sandwiches, steak, seafood and rotisserie meats. Craft cocktails and premium wine and beer available.
It was crowded on a recent Friday at noon but we were able to get a table in the bar area. I wanted to dine in their outdoor patio but they said they weren't seating people outside as they had an issue with the firewall. We split a large chicken asian salad of some sort and they did the split in the kitchen which was a nice touch. I think the salad was $13.99. We each had a glass of wine and the total bill was just under $40. A little pricey for lunch but it was good and we enjoyed watching people and visiting.

Land Ocean, or "LO", is our version of a place for great food with a comfortable atmosphere for lunch or dinner, at a reasonable price point. Land Ocean is the best of the Land and the Sea. Our culinary team has crafted a menu evoking the taste of the Ame
We decided to come back to Land Ocean Folsom with a group of six family members, and we're glad we did. Starting with a couple of Tempura Prawn Appetizers ($13.50 each). Following that, the main courses were Bistro Steaks (skirt steaks)($18), Fish & Chips ($14), Cheddar Burger ($14), Thai Noodle Steak Salad ($17.50), Salmon BLT ($16), Sea Bass ($24), and a Caesar salad ($8.50). Having tried many of the items on the menu, we are happy to report that no one was anything but complimentary about their selections. The service was attentive and efficient by Emily, who was charming. We won't hesitate to go back.

Interesting place-if you're looking for quiet-there's really only one spot-an odd enclosed room in the front of the restaurant. That was our choice so we could hear ourselves talk. We three had quite a tasting from the menu. Sister had margarita on the rocks-I had a blackberry frozen margarita. Both excellent. We ordered several small plates-artichoke fritters with lemon aioli, corned beef tacos, 3 dips with chips and polenta with mushrooms and marinara. The fritters were great-although fried were light and fresh. The tacos had tender corned beef, but needed more slaw to provide much needed moisture. The three dips-a salsa verde with avocado (need more avocado), roasted tomato and pimento cheese were all acceptable. The polenta was good-but we would have preferred it crispy rather than baked. Hubby had ribs and fried chicken with waffle fries for an entree. All were good, but a cup of slaw would be a nice addition. Sister and I each had chimichurri chicken. Both lovers of that sauce-this was not edible. It had a bitter taste to it which overan everything on the plate. The server removed them both after our comments and we shared another order of the chicken and ribs. I'd return (if in the area) and have a couple of small plates-but doubt I'd go down the hill from Auburn just to eat here. There's too many options with a higher success rate than we experienced.Looks like you enjoyed most everything, we look forward to seeing you when you are in the area.

Scott's Seafood Folsom serves the freshest seafood and steaks served by a warm and gracious staff in a comfortable, intimate atmosphere in Folsom, CA.
My husband and I ate lunch here for the first time. I had the wild prawn fettuccine with artichoke hearts and cherry tomatoes and it was delicious. There were quite a few prawns and the combination of artichoke hearts, tomatoes & spinach was very tasty. My husband had the cod fish & chips and he said fish was good but not very tasty fries. Also he indicated the slaw that came with it had too much mayonnaise in it. Nicole, our server, was very professional & friendly. We're delighted you found quite the tasty combination in our wild prawn fettuccine, Nancy. That said, it sounds like we could have done a better job with the sides of your husband's fish & chips. Thank you both for joining us! We look forward to getting everything just perfect next time. All the best,Tim H., General Manager

The initial melting of the culinary tradition of ancient Peru with Spanish cuisine, evolved through immigration and influences of French, Italian, Asian and African people, who modified their traditional cuisines with ingredients available in peruvian geo
I've wanted to try this for awhile. And while the food was good I will admit, the serving sizes and prices could use a change (especially for the appetizers). 2 tiny empanadas for $12 seemed a bit much. $10 for a 5 ounce mixed drink....hmm. If your going to charge fine dining prices, I expect a good atmosphere too. This place was plain and lacking. Just some art of the Nazca Lines and not much else as far as decor. The lomo saltado is a solid Peruvian dish and very classic so I'm glad they got that right. Just a few other things need adjusting and this place could be great.
