We have visited Grado many times over fifteen years and we are rarely disappointed by the food. This was the worst meal we have had on this island. Ironically we felt sorry when we noticed the place closing one lunch time when nobody came to eat. Now we understand why... the food bore little resemblance to the photos on this site. I had a mixed seafood starter which comprised some fairly decent squid salad, one scallop, some very strangely tasting sardines in saor and lots of nearly burnt dry breadcrumbed sardines. My husband sadly chose a starter of just dried, burnt breadcrumbed sardines. Very off-putting. I did not want a second course but my husbandâs octopus in tomato was slimy and he could not face it. We asked for the bill. When his barely touched plate was seen the owner and his partner we think were called. We did not want to cause a scene and we just wanted to pay and leave but the woman wanted to argue about the food and demanded an explanation. We emphasised we wanted to pay but she was rather aggressive. It was a thoroughly unpleasant experience.Andate a curarvi .....noi trattiamo prodotti freschi voi probabilmente mangiate solo fish & chips prodotti congelati nelle vostre lande.

Whenever we come to Grado we like to go and eat pizza at the Delfino Blu. They have a great selection and you can either eat in or takeaway. Apart from pizzas they also have a regular menu with a good choice of meat or fish dishes. Staff are also very friendly. We have eaten pizzas at other restaurants but in our opinion those from Delfino Blu are the best.

My friend and I had pizza here that was delicious. The service was friendly and efficient. The pizza dough was light and fluffy - not too heavy - and the sauce tasted freshly made.

We decided to visit this restaurant because of positive reviews and were satisfied. We had no reservation but were lucky to get table inside. It was hot evening but there was fresh air and not too high temperature by the table. All dishes were tasty, big enough and nice (fish, beef and lasagna) When it comes to service, it was perfect. Restaurant was full, but they took care of everything. The only thing I was missing is menu published on website since it is my favourite reading before visiting restaurant.Dear Martin,we are very happy and satisfied in reading your beautiful review. We want to thank heartily for the nice words for us.We hope to see you again Yours faithfully Laura and Christian

@Family run restaurant / pizzeria with true flavors and tradition of the past .. @Familiengeführtes Restaurant / Pizzeria mit wahren Aromen und Traditionen der Vergangenheit ... @Családi üzemeltetésű étterem / pizzéria valódi Ãzekkel és a múlt hagyományai
We wanted to go for a dinner, but it started raining in Grado, so basically every tourist took shelter in restaurants - some eating, some just standing under a roof. We saw an empty table in this place - a rarity in the rainy weather -, and wanted to sit down to have a pasta or a pizza. The waitress told us that the table is reserved, even though there wasn't any sign of it - it was just an empty table. This was the "we're almost full, and we prefer a bigger group - even if the table is small for them, they'll be grateful that we let them in" look. This wasn't the only restaurant which treated us like that in the evening, it looks like a common thing - when the rain comes, they know they're gonna be full, so they can choose their guests.Luckily, we can choose to rate the restaurant, and warn people about it - so here we are.

Attention now we are closed for the end of the season. The "Approdo" Restaurant Bar offers a cuisine based on fish between starters, main courses pasta and fish cooked in a masterly way. Unique for its ability to reach it both by sea with boats both by la
We visited LâApprodo on the Easter weekend. It was not busy, and we were greeted friendly and offered a nice table by the window (had no reservation). The starters and drinks were served quickly, and they tasted delicious. For the main course we had the catch of the day, grilled calamari and linguine alla vongole. Very nice! The homemade dessert was also great. We enjoyed our meal with some white wine and had a wonderful evening. Will definitely come back during our next visit to Grado.

We chose this restaurant based on the good reviews on Tripadvisor and nothing else really, since the place is not very picturesqueâthey have a small garden with a few tables, so we had to sit at a table outside, which is basically on the street, on a crossroad, were passers-by can stare into your plate. The restaurant offers a very narrow selection of dishes, which is usually a good thing for any restaurant, but the food was just a hint below average. Nothing special, though itâs good to mention that some of the fish was fresh (some of the seafood was frozen, but this is specified in the menu). The portions were very small, so overpriced, even for Grado restaurants. The service was OK but the food, atmosphere, and price were not, so weâre definitely not going back.

We went for lunch and experienced perfect Italian food. We had two Pizzas that were prepared in the traditional Neapolitan way. The pasta dishes on the tables next to us looked spectacular, too. Portions are more than generous and prices reasonable.More importantly, it tasted really good! Service was friendly and quick. Great place!

Today was very hot and humid in Grado, as usual. As usual, I was extremely hungry and craving for some good, high quality and fresh Italian food. Mum and grandma are everyday-clients of a lovely little bistro close to the pool in the "pineta". We sit in the shade; A calm breeze and nice garden area, a cute waitress comes for the orders and drinks! With her comes the enthusiastic owner of the restaurant: clean and professional personality with that added refined style. He is immediately really caring for my food intolerances (lactose and gluten). Apparently, he is always really happy to accomodate any request. The food comes out quickly and tastes amazing. Refined dishes with the Italian taste of fresh and locally harvested ingredients, the presentation is nice, simple and clean and the technical cooking impeccable. Everything cooked fresh, from scratches. The owner stayed around with a welcoming and warm smile, always ready for a friendly chat about food and life. An extremely nice lunch and gastronomic experience, definitely recommended!
